I walked down the beach, looking for shells on the pristine sand with my feet being gently tickled by the rolling waves. It was just another day on the Island. My hair blows in the wind, the last of my hair ties having long since snapped. The sun shines down on me and I stop for a moment to just look up, close my eyes, and appreciate where I am. Life was so different on the Island. There was no where pressing I had to be. Nothing important to do. I lift my hand to my face to shade my eyes as I check the position of the sun. I should get heading back to camp. I look down and spot a perfect shell laying in the sand just barely under the water.

"How exquisite..."

I bend down and pick up the lightly salmon shaded shell and turn it over in my hand, marvelling at the pearlescence. If I ever get back to the mainland I would definitely have to put the shells I've collected somewhere nice. But for now, I wrap my fingers around it and turn to head home. Home. Odd. When had I started thinking of the Island as home? I guess somewhere along the line, I found my place. I look out at the ocean and smile.

OOC: I sure hope you don't mind me RPing here with you :)

IC:
I watched as Lucy walked towards the beach. I decided to follow her to see what she was up to. Nothing, she walked on the beach and picked up shells. I sat on a small sand dune and watched her somemore. The sun was nice and hot on my face. I closed my eyes, leaned back and took it in. I loved the outdoors. I hated this blasted island, but being outdoors was fun. I loved hearing the waves crash on the beach, it relaxed me. Of course, living on the beach didn't beat an air conditionned house, a comfortable bed, a daily change of clothes, running water...well, let's just say that the beach wasn't as nice as the village. I looked toward Lucy again to find her looking at me.
"Juliet." She said. I smiled, busted.
"Hello Lucy." I said. I didn't want to look too suspicious, I mean, why should I doubt her, I was the outsider, I was an other.
"Hi." She said. I motionned to the sand besides me. She sat down.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her.

OOC: I hope it's an okay place to stop for you :)

"What are you doing here?" Juliet asked me.
I shuffled my feet a little in the sand.
"I love it out here. Reminds me that life doesn't have to be complicated. What are you doing out here?"
Usually she stuck to the village. It made me a little wary. I looked to the ocean again, maybe i'll go for a swim later. There is that nice little lagoon in the jungle.
