Well, I worked there 5 years and made my way up to Student Supervisor. I used to be able to just answer phones and sell ads. Starting last semester, they had me running crap errands, deliver magazines (back breaking work with no extra pay), and they would send me home early. I wasn't getting the respect I thought I deserved (which wasn't much, just consideration for the time I've spent there). So I decided to quit. It was great, I got a text this morning from a friend and I quote "WHAT??? QUIT??? When I think of the Stater I think newspaper and Dan. Thisplace is going to fail w/o you!!!" Haha, go to hell DAILY KENT STATER!!!!!!

If so, I feel your pain, I was a reporter last quarter for my schools newspaper and it was horrible so much work and I only got 2cr. I felt bad for the people who actually got paid to be there (editors and other staff) they had to do alot of shit work for min wage pay. High Five for quiting though.
