You've got the right idea going on with the background and everything; and the font used for "Joker" is actually pretty fitting. The image looks a little skewed from when you resized it though. Be careful to maintain the same height:width ratios when resizing. That or maybe it just needs to be sharpened a bit. Not bad for a first attempt; keep working at it and experiment with layers!
