Assists Projectile ( LP Optic Blast ) Anti-Air ( Gene-Splice ) - Recommended! Expansion ( Roundhouse Cyclone Kick ) Cyclops is a excellent assist character (Anti-Air = Gene Splice ) but also a great on point character that can hold his own. This thread will be updated with techniques on how to use Cyclops effectively. He has many ways to fight from a distance. His fierce punch is a projectile that travels at about average speed and goes through some hyper combos like Storms Hailstorm and Magnetos Magnetic Shockwave. It hits hard and does decent damage. His other projectile is his optic blast (qcf+p) which hits horizontally when done with LP and hits at a somewhat vertical angle with FP. The LP version can be canceled into Super optic blast (qcf+2 kicks) and does excellent damage when connected. His custom pop up move which can set up for air combos, is C.MK, which can be performed by holding Down+Right and Roundhouse Kick. This move comes out extremely fast and has high priority, beating out alot of attacks that come into contact with it, if not it will most likely trade safely with the attack. His Standard Fierce Punch while jumping also has a very wide hit box and also has alot of priority, beating out some of sentinels stronger moves in the air, so use it often when having air battles with a high tier character like sentinel or storm. |

Great post. Cyclops has always been a character that interested me but he just was not my style of play. I may revist him tonight after reading this. |
