- What is this Restore Saga thing all about?
It's pretty simple, really. It's a role-play board devised with Furry Enthusiasts in mind. The concept came about after crafting a failed idea for a Sonic the Hedgehog based roleplay, from which the remains of said board were reconstructed to form this shiny new masterpiece you see today. The story is set on a post world war planet that is struggling to rebuild from the ashes of a once-great society, focusing primarily around the issues risen between the three neighboring countries of Grand Harmonia, Melhak, and the South Tanzan Union.
- So why is this 'Harmonia' so important?
Well, Grand Harmonia is viewed by the rest of the world as a holy city, where the world's savior came to dwell and build her nation. And as such, it is often seen as the 'center of the world' and whatever problems bode ill for Harmonia, bodes ill for the world of Restore. Despite there being technically three ruling major powers over Restore – The Ministry of Grand Harmonia, The Melhakanian Empire, and the newly restructured government founded recently in Tanza (The S. Tanzan Union), Harmonia is the strongest and eldest of the three major powers and holds the most political sway. If it were to fall, the entire planet would collapse into economic decay overnight.
- What's the problem here then? Supers work for the military. Big deal.
The big deal is that the military sector of Grand Harmonia is forcefully drafting children (many of which who are under the age of 16) into military service against their will. True, while it is known that the Academy is a scholastic training-grounds for up-and-coming military youths, it is not known to the public that the Kingdom of Grand Harmonia is using the Academy to scout and mass-produce brainwashed Super Soldiers for military use. This is seen as an insult to many within Grand Harmonia's Ministry, which has always preached of resolving conflicts through peaceful military demonstrations than rather outspread war. Consequently, there are other major players in the world who also disagree.
- So this is a fantasy war-drama between three neighboring kingdoms?
Yes. Specifically centered around Grand Harmonia's capital city of Crescendo. Dealing mostly with the royal family and the royal court's difficulties in dealing with the death of the previous king, the change from a patriarchal system of government to a matriarchal one, and the life-long ties both made and severed in the pursuit of peaceful negotiations while on the very eve of war. The story itself begins in Crescendo and a good portion of the RP is set there until the neighboring countries are respectively introduced in a similar manner.
