Before you can use any addon, you must know how to install one, Here is a step-by-step of how to do so.

1) If you don't have a copy already, download a 'trial version' of Winzip from http://www.winzip.com/ddchomea.htm or WinRAR from http://download-winrar.org/ and install it. All addons come in a compact form and you need one of these programs to unpack it.

2) Download any add-ons that you may want to use. Save them to your desktop for easy acess. Make sure that you download the addon with the most recent date.

3) Double-click the addon folders and the winzip program will open. Click 'use trial verson' and it will open all the file in a window.

4) Highlight your addon file in the window and click 'extract.' Select the following path as the destination to be saved at: C:/Program Files/WorldofWarcraft/Interface/Addons. Hit enter. (If you are updating your addons, click "replace all" to overwrite the previous version.)

5) Open up world of Warcraft and go to the character selection screen. (If you had not fully exited the game before, do so now and restart it. New / updated addons won't reload until you do.)

6) Click the 'Add Ons' button in the lower left-hand corner. If the button is not there, then you missed something in # 1-5.

7) Check any of the add-ons that you want loaded, making sure to also check 'Load out of date' in the upper-right corner of the window.

8) Click ok, and load up a character.

BONUS TIP: On your Character Selection screen, click the 'addons' button in the lower left-hand corner. On the upper right-hand corner of that window there is a box that limits how much memory to use. Fill in 0 into that box, and it allows it unlimited access. Thanks to Delarosta. :)
