The Black Wind
Name: Clive
Age: 26
Star: Tensyo, The Swift Star
Hometown: The Tower
Occupation: Knight Class Gunner
Weapon:
Gun: Wind -> Storm -> Tornado - The most unique and feared gun of the Howling Voice Guild. Measuring at 3' 7.8" taking into account the 2' barrel and weighing in at 9.5 lbs at it's bare essentials without any attachments. It operates with a gas-operated cylinder and a rotating bolt, and automatically ejects empty shells with each shot. The gun is loaded with En-bloc clips that come in variations of 2, 4, 6, and 8. It can also be loaded with a single shot but the mechanics of the gun make it much easier to just load in clips, multiple clips may be loaded and stacked against each other, but the limit of space makes 8 bullets the maximum. Once a clip is in place, the gun automatically loads each bullet through the mechanics of the loading chamber and ejects the empty bloc clip out of the top. The gun fires at a rate of 16 to 24 rounds a minute in the hands of the well-trained and has a range of roughly 500 yards. The barrel is a blackened for both durability and stealth, with a hardwood stock and grip below the barrel, stained with a dark finish.

Clive's most distinguishing piece of clothing would have to be his black cloak. This gunmetal black cloak breaks up his form and keeps any equipment he carries a complete mystery. The cloak is held in place with two brick-red belts. Under the cloak, he wears an olive drab t-shirt, a black bracer on his right wrist, a black glove on this left hand, and khaki pants, held up by another red belt. With another belt across his chest to hold his belongings and holster Storm. His boots are a simple olive color, but are great for traveling, sneaking, and combat. His sandy blond bangs are frayed in every direction upon stoic face.

Clive often wears a cold outlook for his surroundings. Always watching but never appreciating, he sees things in the most basic colors and treats it accordingly. His speech is often short and to the point, alternating between a soft stoicism or a grumpy grunt of an answer. His emotions are in check and subdued usually, but at times he can lose his grip and is prone to yelling. Clive usually keeps to himself, preferring the dark alleys of cities, or the forests.

On his belt and shoulder strap, Clive keeps a few spoils of his adventures, a set of Toran throwing knives for those rare moments, a Karayan hunting knife for anything that needs a blade, and his bullet pouch made from dragon hide to prevent any accidents. In addition to that, is another bag which carries various things to 'get by' on his adventures: dried rations, a water pouch, maps, any and all what-nots required for a traveling assassin.

Biography: The Howling Voice Guild is the elite “black ops” force within the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia. They hold only two main objectives; protection or assassination. The Howling Voice Guild also holds a firm grip on the existence and secret of gun powder and firearms, making the guild incredibly powerful and feared throughout the world. Each trainee not only becomes a perfect shot, but they turn into excellent all-purpose killing machines, trained in every form of assassination, from close quarters combat to poisons.

Clive was born, raised, and trained by the Howling Voice guild, told nothing of parents, brothers, sisters, or family. When he turned 15, the "Day of Adulthood", he was one of three to survive the fierce training. During his training as a youth he befriended two other students, Kelly and Elza, who were the other two students to reach the "Day of Adulthood". The three were great friends and each others' support during this tough time, helping each other maintain some form of sanity that many members lost from the intense training. Eventually they managed to become "Knight Class Gunners" together and shortly after, Kelly was appointed has Guildmaster. This position seemed to change Kelly and he soon become obsessed with power. One day, out of the blue, Kelly called for Elza to hold Storm, the gun that signified the leader of the guild. Storm had refused Kelly, the Elders' pick for leadership, but Storm had chosen Elza instead. Kelly had no choice but to call for a duel over who could control Storm.

Moon and Star were brought forth for the duel. Elza took Star, Kelly; Moon. They said the ritual prayers of dueling, turned and fired. But only Star's shot rang out and Elza quickly ran up to Kelly to take Moon and flee. When he heard of the news, Clive assumed that Elza betrayed Kelly and volunteered to hunt her down and "punish" her. To the Elder's surprise, Clive was able to use Storm, and thus he was granted permission to leave "The Tower." Clive has been tracking Elza since, for several years, south through Dunan and Toran; where he searched through Rikon and Rockland, only to have heard she returned to Dunan after the war, and so he went to investigate.

Personality: Being raised in the Tower since birth. Clive didn't have the luck to experience the regular activities of most children and teenagers. Silent and naive, stoic yet foolish when it doesn't matter, Clive’s social skills need the most work. He can be quick to anger depending on the situation and topic, but above all this he's determined. Behind that lies a trained killer, taught the specifics of the human body, espionage, stealth, gunpowder, poison, sniping/marksmanship, and general assassination. But Clive has slowly grown since venturing into the outside world, developing a taste for exotic foods and to just sit in silence and listen to the outdoors. He is slowly becoming human and at times has resentments about finding Elza, as that would put him back in the Tower.

Clive makes himself hard to approach for a reason, he doesn't like crowds or people. He doesn't feel the need to trust others and will do any tasks on his own. When it comes to matters of love, Clive would simply snark at the idea, and leave it at that, still hung up on a distant memory of his past. An assassin of the Howling Voice Guild has no time or need for things such as love, friendship, trust, or honor.
