Name: Georg Prime Age: 40 Star: Teni Star – The Strange Star Hometown: Unknown Occupation: Formerly one of the Scarlet Moon Empire’s Great Generals and Queen’s Knight during his stay in Falena, now a wandering swordsman for hire. Weapon: Cloud [Iai Sword] Runes: Head: N/A Right Hand: Killer Rune - Critical hit chance x1.5, 10% chance of instant death. Left Hand: N/A Class and MP Tier: Heavy Warrior [MP: 6/4/2/0] Character Description: Tall and broad with a sturdy build, Georg cuts a rather imposing silhouette. He keeps his black hair cut short, the front of it just long enough to occasionally obscure his brown eyes. He dresses simply, often favoring a brown cloak or trenchcoat over leather slacks and a white shirt. He wears his scabbard at his hip, his sword sheathed beneath his coat to keep from drawing undue attention to himself. Biography: Born in 420, Georg’s early life is largely a mystery. His birthplace is unknown and he has never spoken of his upbringing. His earliest known appearance was sometime prior to 446, where he fought alongside friend Ferid Egan in the Island Nations Federation. During a particularly intense battle there, Georg let his guard down and left his left side open to attack, and took a hit that nearly cost him his left eye and compromised his sight. Ferid intervened quickly, saving both Georg’s life and sight, but afterwards, the swordsman wore an eyepatch over the previously injured eye for many years, a reminder of the cost of overconfidence. The year 446 places Georg in the Scarlet Moon Empire, where he served under Barbarossa Rugner as one of the Empire’s Great Generals during the civil war for the throne. His reputation for his skill with a blade had already begun to spread, making him a welcome addition to Rugner’s army. Once the war was over, Georg left Scarlet Moon and his position there, but remains famous in the area to this day and is spoken of with high regard. Little is known about his travels immediately following his time in Scarlet Moon, though he is known to have spent some time in the Grasslands between 446 and 449, where he became known as the Knight of the Ebony Moon. By 449, Georg resurfaced in the Falena Queendom, where he had been named one of the elite Queen’s Knights under the command of old friend Ferid Egan. While there, it was rumored that no Queen’s Knight was skilled enough to match him in battle, with the possible exception of Commander Ferid himself. Secretly, Ferid had invited Georg to Falena for a very specific purpose, with the reasoning that Georg was the only person he could trust implicitly. In the event that Ferid was unable to keep his wife, Queen Arshtat, who was slowly being driven mad by the Sun Rune she bore, in check, he charged Georg with the task of subduing her himself. Arshtat and Ferid both fell during the Godwin family’s coup d’etat, where they took control of the Sun Palace, and framed Georg for the murder of the Queen and Commander. Though he was a fugitive, Georg fulfilled the promise he had made to look after his friends’ children, and served in the Prince’s Loyalist Army until Falena was freed of the Godwins’ control and peace was restored. Following the war, Georg decided to leave Falena, stating that his being a wanted man would not allow him to stay there. He has not returned since. Since then, little has been known of Georg’s deeds, though he has recently been traveling the City-States of Jowston, making his living by his sword. He was last spotted in the Muse area. Personality: At first, Georg often comes off as cool and taciturn. His imposing figure and reputation lead people to assume that he is stoic and coldhearted, a side-effect of having made his living by his sword for so many years. Georg opens up to reveal his true nature rather quickly; he is warm and informal with those he befriends. He is serious when the situation calls for it, with a good head for strategy. He is good in a crisis, able to remain calm and clear-headed. He also has a raging sweet tooth. While his manner is usually relaxed and generally pleasant, there is a quiet weight to his bearing, a thinly-veiled sadness that is always present. Player: Christine |
