The Muse Principality is the largest of the Jowston city-states, with its territories covering the north and eastern shores of Lake Dunan with Matilda to its north, Highland to the northeast, and Greenhill to the west. The area around Muse City itself is the most developed, with stone roads leading the the various checkpoints, while its eastern regions are a quiet and rural place with a mercenary base there to protect it. Although the other city-states are relatively autonomous Muse Principality is still considered the heart of the nation and its conquest would be a devastating blow to Jowston.

Located in the northeast of the Dunan region, the Highland Kingdom has a long, distinguished, and rather bloody history. It was founded in SY 237 when a Harmonian noble named Maroux Blight distinguished himself against rebel forces in the Harmonian Civil War and was awarded a large amount of land as a result. He formed the Highland Kingdom out of this territory to act as a buffer between Harmonia and Dunan and always kept friendly relations with his homeland. Since then Highland has constantly been at war with both the old Dunan Monarchy and later the City-States of Jowston, though they haven't had a big war with them for around 30 years now. Still, if Highland is provoked its wrath will no doubt be great, especially with the demonic Prince Luca Blight as the new supreme commander of the Highland Army.
