I think its mandatory that we do some form of a horror short film. Anyone have any ideas? I don't think were 25 and under film makers until we make one. I like horror that seems realistic, as opposed to super natural murders (i.e. Freddy Krugar). I also always wanted to do a horror spoof on The Strangers. Not a stupid scary movie spoof. I wanted to shoot a spoof horror about a couple who go to the lake house. FILM EVERYTHING from their point of view like its a horror. Then film the "bad guys" as a comedy. Make them inexperienced murders, maybe even young. From the good guys point of view it would look like these guys know exactly what they are doing, but from the bad guys point of view they would obviously be screwing up and getting lucky. That was off topic somewhat of a horror. |

So with the bad guys you mean, you want some kind of "every action has a reaction" behind it. Like everything they do wrong sets up something right? |

Yeah. They basically get lucky. Example: The shot in strangers, where Liv Tyler is by herself in the house, and in the background the guy with the mask walks in and she doesn't know it. Well in the thing I'm talking about, it would be set up like so: You have 3 killers, but from the start one of them is basically late, or his where abouts are unknown. The whole time the other two killers are like "wheres so and so" , "oh I can't believe hes late" or maybe the guy is just high. Well in our thing the girl would be standing there, and the murderer would basically get lost and wander into the house high. When he realised there is a girl standing there, it scares HIM, bc she is looking the other way and does not see him. Sounds confusing but it could be done right |

Horror movies are my favorite ones. I really like when there is a serial killer, and like you said Stephen, everything is pretty real. "Scream" is an exellent example and one of my favorite ones ever.

yea i think it would be really cool showing the couples side and their really scared just like a regular horror then show the killers pov. give them very human qualities like fear and nerves that you never see in a horror. almost like in pulp fiction were vincent and jules are the bedasses but in the car alone have these normal everyday conversation. something like that would be cool for a horror |
