Takeru sighed quietly as he sat gracefully on an old iron fence that surrounded a fairly large park that took up a fair bit of the Downtown area he was currently in. He glanced around to see Kinya (his companion, a carrion crow almost as old as he was) a very special and unique bird that also gave him eyes in the sky, should he need them for any reason. But currently she was feasting on worms that had surfaced from the rain that had only just stopped a little while ago. His thoughts went to his pink haired other half and he smiled at the fact Ryuuto was probably knee's deep in ancient tomes and books. His pink and black haired partner was the silent and broody type - yet held so much intelligence and knowledge that sometimes even he was shocked by it sometimes. Jumping off the fence he landed gracefully and silently and made a clicking noise with his tounge, a sound that let Kinya know he was going and to take flight and follow him from above. The carrion of course did not before taking one last wriggling worm and swallowing it before making her way into the skies. He hummed slightly putting his hand in one of his many pockets that his dark red checkered shirt and pulled out a lollypop. The shirt itself had on the right hand side a skull motif's and a pattern as well as some shiny metal studs on it, just above the pocket on the left hand side. Around his neck a red and black tie that held the same motif as his shirt, that was casually tied but still hung a lot lower than a tie should be. Below that on his upper torso he wore a grey and black shirt which held a black pirate skull and swords motif, that hung loosely off his petit and lithe frame and bondage style deep blue denims that had paint splattering on the upper half of both sides of said attire, and a chain going from the belt hoops on them to his shirt to finish the punk style look he was going for. He shifted a little as he pulled his wool hat down, which too was also in a punk style and a striped spiked bracelet on one of his wrists. Hearing a noise he paused in his casual walk in an unknown direction at the noise, looking around and finding nothing, he sighed once again before placing the lollypop into his mouth and walking through the district. Tonight was a lovely for one of the long walks Takeru was very fond of and even though he looked relatively normal he still held that vampire aura and of course his weapons concealed on himself. Kinya cawed in the distance a little obviously she'd roosted for a while in a tree some feet away from him and he clicked his tongue in a different sound to before which brought the crow to him that ensured the bird was perched on his outstretched arm. "Don't travel too far ahead.." he told the crow quietly that cawed its reply before flying off once again and circling him, before flying off a few meters ahead of its master. |

Kaya near a corner of the old fence that encircled the park, one hand clasped around one of the cold, wrought iron bars. He held a small, decorated umbrella for one in his other hand to keep the fine mist that was still in the air from the rain off his person his long, black gothic gown rustling in the breeze. Toshi had been the one to do up his corset that day and not wanting to refuse his master’s ‘kind’ offer he had allowed for him to do so, not that he really had a choice in the matter. Now he was standing here in the cold waiting for a certain someone to wander his way, feeling lightheaded and more than a little constricted and imprisoned in his own clothing. When Takeru neared him he didn’t look over at the vampire just continued to stare into the massive park, hand still holding onto the bar. “My master sends his greetings.” He stated quietly. Toshi had sent him to find Takeru and Ryuuto and had been at least kind enough to tell him where Takeru was that evening. It would have killed Kaya to be sent by his master to check on someone who wasn’t home, especially with the clothing problem he was currently experiencing. Toshi had even picked out the shoes he was wearing that day and Kaya had to say while they were something nice to look at they were hardly practical for walking around the city. He would have loosened his corset and changed his shoes if it had been a maid that had done him up, but he knew Toshi would take offense to his actions and then there would be punishment in store for him. “Toshi-sama hasn’t heard from you or your partner in a while.” He didn’t need to explain that he’d been sent to check up on the two. Everyone knew who saw Kaya coming their way that Toshi was sending his little bird to make contact with them. Even if they weren’t particularly loyal to the vampire lord this was still his city and he still demanded to know what everyone was up to. |

“My master sends his greetings.” The soft voice of Kaya filtered through the dark night air and Takeru paused mid-step before calling Kinya to perch on a nearby stunted tree, one that had obviously died the bird's dark figure silently watching them both. The blonde vampire removed the lollypop from his mouth. Kaya as always was dressed in very gothic attire no doubt commissioned for him by the master, whom of course the other came on behalf of, it was no secret that the pretty, feminine man near him whom he currently regarded with respect represented Toshi the master of all their kind, and those separated within the different classes. “Toshi-sama hasn’t heard from you or your partner in a while.” The blonde's eyes widened a little and it was only then that he realized it had indeed been a while since Ryuuto or himself, checked in with their leader so to speak. "On behalf of Ryuuto and myself I apologize for not reporting in sooner and that you had to come fine me on my usual evening walk. Should it please Toshi-sama I will accompany you to see him and go on behalf of use both.." he broke off and clicked his tongue calling the carrion crow to leave its perch and situate itself on his shoulder, before continuing. "Since Ryuuto is not currently with me. It is good to see you looking well and as lovely as always Kaya.." he added in a soft, calm tone as he placed the lollypop back into his mouth and enjoying the sweet strawberry flavor of it. |

“Thank you Takeru-sama, you’re words flatter me.” Kaya finally turned to Takeru and smiled sweetly at the much older vampire. Falling into step beside Takeru as they started to walk he smiled at the bird perched on the other’s shoulder. “Hello Kinya.” He greeted the bird before continuing his train of thought. “While your offer is appreciated Takeru-sama there’s no need to go all the way to Toshi-sama’s home. Just check in sooner next time.” Kaya made contact with the other vampire, that would be good enough for Toshi for now. “I would love however, for someone to accompany me to that lovely little cake shop on the corner though.” He steepled his hands happily in front of him and gave Takeru a hopeful look. While Takeru indeed was much older than him, he also knew that the Greater Vampire had a weakness for sweets. “I’ve been wanting to try their cakes for some time now. I wonder if I should bring one back for Karyu-san.” He was hoping to visit the other vampire at some point that night and it would be nice to bring something along with him. Maybe Takeru could help him pick something nice out. Edited by Kaya, Aug 28 2009, 06:17 PM.

Takeru smiled at Kaya's reply to his compliment the younger vampire was always modest and that was a admirable quality the other held, that and his grace and elegance. He giggled a little when Kinya was also greeted by Kaya, the crow regarding the other with a gaze before cawing in reply. “While your offer is appreciated Takeru-sama there’s no need to go all the way to Toshi-sama’s home. Just check in sooner next time. Takeru was relieved at the fact he didn't have to go because a general rule of thumb was that both Ryuuto and himself see the Elder and Master of their kind. One without the other was generally not taken very well and would no doubt pose questions. That and also the fact he had time to remind the pinkette, since they had sort of forgotten. “I would love however, for someone to accompany me to that lovely little cake shop on the corner though.” The mention of sweet and sugary things made the older blonde vampire more alert and a giggle surfaced from the blonde and although it was childlike, the blonde's persona and aura wasn't. His main weakness was sweets, cakes, pastries and other goodies that fell into that category of food and confectionary. “I’ve been wanting to try their cakes for some time now. I wonder if I should bring one back for Karyu-san." Takeru let Kinya take wing and fly ahead as he nodded and fell into an graceful walk with Kaya through the park as he replied. "I know the place you speak of, its run by a very nice human his baking skills are amazing. I would be delighted to accompany you and perhaps help you in finding a nice one?.." he paused for a moment to crack the lollipop and finish it before continuing. "This also means I can have a sugary treat myself without Ryuuto seeing.." he added his voice falling into a whisper almost. It wasn't that he kept secrets from his partner but the fact that it would no doubt partly ruin his appetite for the meal Ryuuto was no doubt cooking in his absence from their residence. |

The atmosphere was much nicer once the formalities were out of the way. The two continued through the park as Takeru talked about the cakes and how he was going to sneak in a sweet treat. Smiling and enjoying his time out of Toshi’s stuffy house he laughed when they reached the door. “I’m sure Ryuuto-sama won’t mind you sneaking a sweet in.” He paused long enough to close down his small umbrella giving it a small, dainty shake to rid it of excess water. Stepping through the door to the shop with his companion he nearly squeaked in delight at the atmosphere. He felt a slight tension rise in the few customers that were in the place as a couple of vampires stepped through the door but he ignored them and instead went and crouched in front of the display window. “Oh Takeru-san, look! They’re beautiful!” He cooed out excitedly causing some of the tension in the room decrease as it became apparent that the vampires were interested in something sweet instead of picking out targets. The humans had every right to be nervous around their kind, you never knew when if you were going to be dragged off or even killed right there in front of everyone. The walk from the park and towards the general direction of the cake shop Takeru was very familiar with, sweets after all were the one thing that was on an equal level as blood for the blonde, blood and sweet things, it was also a side of him Ryuuto wasn't overly fond of - but accepted it nonetheless. Kaya's laugh was a lovely melody that filled the air between them as they came up to the front of the shop and Kaya gracefully closed his umbrella, making sure to ensure all traces of water were said item was gone before replying to his remark about Ryuuto. “I’m sure Ryuuto-sama won’t mind you sneaking a sweet in.” The blonde smiled at the reply as they entered the shop Kaya first with him following close behind. Their was a rather uncomfortable air that lingered when both of them entered the shop, but that was something that was to be expected. Takeru was a regular here so he guessed that most of the uneasiness and tension in the air was due to his friend whom he was accompanying. He waved casually to the person behind the counter and the human nodded him in acknowledgement before going back to finishing the icing on a rather complicated looking cake. “Oh Takeru-san, look! They’re beautiful!” The blonde blinked and smiled glancing down to his friend who was now crouched down slightly and gazing at the vast array of cakes, in various shapes and sizes that filled the shop's window display, but he also knew that it was probably to make the human customers that were in the shop also didn't feel too worried or scared. Making his way over to his friend he giggled and leant down before gazing over the wonderful iced and decorated cakes and giving Kaya a reply. "They do all look lovely but there is of course many varieties, do you know what tastes the person whom you're buying one for likes? Or do we play safe and go with a sponge type..?" Glancing around he moaned a little and took in the wonderful smell of the shop and gazed intently at a rather pretty looking chocolate cake decorated with icing, strawberries, and silvery sugar beads. That one certainly looked delicious.. |

Kaya pouted and looked over at Takeru and shook his head regretfully. He didn’t have any idea what kind of tastes Karyu had in sweets or even if he liked sweet things. He would feel just awful if he brought his friend something he absolutely hated. “I don’t know what I should pick out, I have never bought him a cake before.” He was quite perplexed over this matter once again taking a good long look at the beauties behind the display case. “What do you recommend Takeru-san?” It was apparent that Takeru had been here before therefore he would be more of the expert on the delicacies the shop served. Kaya was confident that the blonde vampire would be able to help him pick something good out. |

Kaya talking pulled him from the dream like moment he was having with the delicious looking chocolate cake and he made a mental note to take the slice off it when they left. “I don’t know what I should pick out, I have never bought him a cake before.” Well that certainly was a slight setback but nonetheless Takeru was positive they'd find one regardless of the time it took, choosing a cake was a very delicate and painstaking manner. Takeru knew from experience since he cooked cakes and such like at home. It was Ryuuto that made most of the main meals. What do you recommend Takeru-san?” The blonde squeeled at Kaya's comment causing everyone in the small cake shop to be slightly taken aback before he shifted a little closer to Kaya, glancing over the many ones in the display window, all of which called to be chosen. "Perhaps you could go for a sponge-type. Those are pretty popular and very delicious.." he paused for a moment his eyes coming to rest on a white icing decorated lemon sponge cake, that held lemon within the sponge layerd within it. That was certainly a good choice. The tip of the cake was decorated in a very gothic manner, red marzipan roses around the entire circumference, with a few petals of marzipan also on the sides, making it look as if petals were falling. "That one over there looks perfect.." Takeru told Kaya pointing in the direction of the aforementioned cake. "I'll go talk to the owner see if I can get us a good deal alright..?" he added in an almost whisper as he turned and made his way over to the counter and was greeted by a familiar face. "Good evening Takeru-sama it is wonderful to see you here again. You're patronage is always welcomed.."Takeru smiled at the old man before replying. "You're too kind to me Sid, anyway I my friend and myself have chosen that lemon sponge you have in the display cabinet may we take it..?" he asked in a normal voice, his aura and demeanor holding not evil motives, that and the fact Takeru could never hurt the one person in the City who made the best cakes. "Certainly Takeru-sama let me just grab a cake box and I will be right over.." Sid replied his fairly old face smiling, and even though Takeru saw traces of fear when the keeper looked at Kaya's figure for a moment he didn't mention of point it out. That was a normal reaction especially to the one person whom often represented their leader. He made his way back to Kaya and smiled before speaking. "He is just grabbing a cake box and is coming over. We should step away slightly from the case though.." he told his friend and both of them made got out of the way. It was a moment or so and when Sid approached the display case opened it and with the greatest of care put it into a box that fit it just perfectly he closed it before motioning for Kaya and himself to go up to the counter and of course pay. "Sid? If its not too much to ask could you possibly give me a slice of that lovely chocolate cake in the window? The one with the sugar beads on.." he asked his tone apologetic and when Sid nodded and made his way back to the case to get him a slice in a smaller box, which where kept behind the counter on a nearby shelf the blonde once again squeeled before glancing to Kaya and talking. "I think that cake will be a hit with Karyu-san. Lemon sponge cake with lemon filling is truly one of the best things in existence, but then again it's all down to taste and preference. Regardless I am sure he will love the gesture.." Edited by Takeru, Sep 1 2009, 04:47 AM.

Kaya eyed the elegant cake for a long moment before nodding his head in approval. He just hoped Karyu liked lemon. Smiling sweetly at the shop owner as he moved to get his cake Kaya stood a little nervously off to the side with Takeru. While he may represent Toshi and that normally gave him all the protection he needed when out and about, Kaya couldn’t help but feel vulnerable when it came to groups of humans. He wasn’t a very strong vampire and some foolish human might decide it would be worth the risk to attempt to attack Kaya. Finally the cake was in its box and they were moving to the counter to retrieve it noticing how nervous the shop keeper seemed to be around him. Pulling out his wallet Kaya carefully counted out the correct amount that he owed and even covered Takeru’s slice for him. That was one thing Toshi did allow him to have without issue and that was money. Bowing graciously to the shop keeper as he was handed the cake he smiled broadly at Takeru his sweet features lighting up as he did so. “Thank you so much Takeru-san.” Then his tone dropped to a whisper. “I don’t think I would have been able to come in here on my own.” He made a quick glance over his shoulder at the patrons who were still quite nervous at his presence. |
