"Well, you certainly seem to like pissing everyone off!" She yelled right back. Tak could be so frustrating some times. Well, all the time. It bothered her a little. "You don't understand, Tak...you need to keep a low profile. I know you want to die but I don't want that to happen, alright?"

She turned away from him to gather her bearings. She didn't want him seeing the true emotion in her eyes. No way would Kato ever tell him what she felt for him. Sure, it was the control, but after so long, she didn't want to be without him. She forced back bitter tears and turned back to him, her control in place and the mask set.

"Go to my house and wait there...I'm off to have a few more words with Toshi." She said it, forcing the thought into his mind. No, she wasn't off to push Toshi, but he didn't know that. She needed some time to compose herself before they finished this conversation.

Tak liked pissing everyone off, that was no secret. Hell, he'd been like that when he was human as well, one of the reason's Kato was attracted to him if he could remember correctly.

"Of course you don't want me dead." He hissed back to her before she turned around. What a strange gesture. First she was yelling at him and now she seemed so docile. Even through all his years, he'd never understand women, and Kato only confused him more.

She told him to go to her house and Tak immediately wanted to tell her to piss off but he suddenly felt a pain in the back of her head, she wasn't giving him a choice. "Fuck....fine." he grunted, turning around to go to that dreaded place. If she smelled like the older vampire when ever she got back, he'd hurl.

She watched him go, her composure slipping with every step he took away from her. That bastard. Did he not have a heart? Oh, sure he did, but it was her, wasn't it? He assumed she was an ice cold, rock solid, heartless bitch. So everything he did was just to torment her. Maybe he was just trying to push her so far that she'd have no choice but to kill him. It wouldn't happen. She wouldn't be able to do it.

Tak had been around for so long. This past century was proof that she didn't want to be without him. Existence wouldn't be meaningless, it would just be a lot less fun and a lot lonelier. She didn't want to be without him if she didn't have to. Nor would she give up her control or tell Tak how she really felt.

Kato took a walk and let the cold night air dry her tears. Damn her woman heart. But she was stronger than that. No one had to know. No one ever would know.

When she finally showed up at her home, her composure was firmly in place and there was no sign of her earlier weakness. She spotted Tak and she came over to him, looking into his eyes to see if he had any guilt whatsoever.

"Anything you want to say, dear?" She asked, almost sounding sweet.
