Something was wrong. She could sense there was danger. And, for some reason, Tak was involved. She flew gently in the night air, searching for her Tak. Calling for him wouldn't do right now. She had to find him before something bad happened to him. There was a voice that rang out through the night. A voice she would recognize anywhere. Toshi. All the vampires knew his voice. She turned and flew towards it when she heard another voice she'd never forget. Tak. Her precious Tak, arguing with Toshi? This wouldn't end well.

Flying over the scene, she noticed Toshi's pet submissively standing behind him. Kato landed quietly besides Kaya and reached out to him, caressing his cheek.

"This is what happens when the pets forget their leashes..." She took a step forward, glaring daggers at Tak and willing him NOT TO SPEAK. Her face turned to Toshi and instantly became a smile. "They forget their place and think if they band together, they'll taste freedom. Aren't I right?"

Toshi and her had a history. Perhaps not what most would consider good, but she got what she wanted and she knew the old man pined after her when she left. She knew his scent and he came near her home occasionally then. As for now, well, he had his rather feminine slave who looked none to happy to hear him yell. And Tak, stupid Tak. He'd get it later. Didn't he know Toshi would tear him limb from limb without a second thought? She would not have her precious man destroyed like that. If anyone was to destroy him, it would be her and her alone.

Kaya let out a small noise of surprise as he was pushed harshly behind his master, nearly tripping over his feet as he did so. These ridiculous outfits Toshi demanded he wear were not exactly made for mobility. His mind was soon off his stumbling feet however when he felt another presence drawing near. A few moments later, sure enough an elegant woman appeared in the alleyway, head held high with pride and a purpose in her step.

Kaya recoiled slightly when she reached out to him expecting something a little more violent than just a stroke on the cheek. Lowering his gaze when she began to speak he felt the anxiety rise further in his chest; this was all getting to be a bit too much for him.

A familiar presence was not unwanted. Toshi looked over to the woman who had just arrived and greeted her with a nod. He knew she was Tak’s master, weather Tak wanted to admit it or not. She was the only one who had a say if Tak could live or die, and if he were to die, it would be by her hands an no one else’s. Toshi knew the drill.

“It seems like your little pet needs to be re-educated. Mine, however, just needs to be taught a little lesson. I only pray that he listens well or there will be consequences.” Toshi spoke calmly to Kato as he turned his attention back to Tak. Toshi was not the only one not to be reckoned with. Kato was almost as old as he was and just as wise. Her strength was equal to Toshi’s, he knew not to cross her.

“Pet’s these days. I only wish mine were as loyal as You’s little boy.” Toshi shrugged and turned his head to cast Kaya a glare. “I might just have to send this one back to You to get him straightened out.” He sneered before turning his attention back over to Kato. “And might I say, you’re looking as beautiful as ever, Kato-san.”

Tak gritted his teeth at the very sight of her. It was no surprise, he could feel her precence the second she wanted to make it known. She touched Kaya and he couldn't help but laugh at his reaction, shouldn't that have been a sign, really? One glare and Tak couldn't speak, instead he just rolled his eyes and let them talk.

Kato had such confidence in front of someone she would no doubt be scolding Tak for having confidence in his presence. How fucking ironic. He rolled his eyes after Toshi's comments, if he could speak...rolling eyes would be the last action he would have displayed, but he really had no choice in the matter.

The mention of You made Tak look at Kaya. He had only heard of the vampire in passing, Kato had never seen a need to have others punish him. You was apparently cruel and violent, and Tak was sure the feminine vampire couldn't deal with that. He felt sorry that he had caused this, but one wouldn't be able to tell from looking at him.

He looked at the red head for quite some time before glaring at the back of Kato's head. He wanted to scream at them both...going from threatening to flirting, what the fuck.

She ignored Tak completely, turning all her attention to Toshi. Her 'pet' would be dealt with later. For now, she had to clean up the mess he just made. The idea of anyone being sent to You was a disgusting one, in her mind. That poor boy shivering behind Toshi was proof. She'd never be able to deal with a scared puppy like that. She preferred Tak, even though what he just did was WAY out of line.

"Well, thank you, Toshi-san. You're looking rather handsome, yourself." Her voice was smooth like butter, as were her movements. She took a step forward and took Toshi's hand, bringing it to her lips to brush a kiss along his knuckles. It was a show of respect for Toshi. She may hate the man, even dream of his death (preferably by her own hands), but she knew he was still more powerful than her. Barely.

"I do believe your pet has learned his lesson already, by the way he's shaking in his boots. Promise me you won't punish him for the insolence of my dear Tak. He seems to enjoy overstepping his bounds but that is for me to deal with. Kaya here did nothing wrong." She hoped the old fart would listen to her.

The last thing she needed was to hear of some poor, innocent weakling like Kaya being sent into hell (so to speak) for something Tak did. That would only put Tak into more trouble and she would refuse if anyone told her that he must be destroyed. And there was NO WAY anyone would be taking that pleasure from her. She must perform this damage control if she was to keep him. He'd be staying close for a while, that was sure. Tak wasn't going anywhere or feeding for at least a few days. That will teach him.

Kaya looked up hopefully as Kato made an appeal on his behalf; the last person he wanted to be sent to for disobedience was You. He would be so disappointed if his prized slave that he invested so much time in that Kaya wasn’t sure what the ancient vampire would do. Kaya felt his stomach roll as the possibilities whirled through his mind.

He could only hope that Toshi would listen to Kato and be merciful that day. All the while in the back of his mind there was a niggling worry of what Kato would do to the man that had offered to take him away from all this.

Kato did seem to have a point about the situation not being Kaya’s fault. But Kaya was still tempted, and that was the main reason for Toshi’s punishment thought. He pulled Kaya to his side, his arm wrapping around his shoulders and holding him in a tight hold.

“True, but you see, he was tempted by the idea and that… that is something that I do not want in my pets.” Toshi sighed heavily and shook his head. “Now, Kaya, we should be heading home now. I’ll send someone else out to finish your errands.”

Toshi turned and pulled Kaya with him, keeping him in a firm grip as he walked with him. He turned the corner to the “safe area” of his residence. The mansion was enormous as it appeared in the distance. Pulling Kaya inside, he let him go, knowing that Kaya would go straight to the punishment room. He’d deal with him later.

Tak stood there, fidgeting and being properly ignored. He was alright with that. If they were actually paying attention to him they would see how much their words ticked him off. His eyes growing red now, he was down right revolted in their terminology. Once humans...now pets. Being a vampire seemed a step down on the chain in comparison.

He was almost physically revolted as he watch Kato kiss that old fucks hand. Certainly not jealousy, but how the hell could she kiss something older then dirt? He was however worried about Kaya, the kid was timid and any punishment he got, would essentially Tak's fault...he honestly hoped Kato's words would work. But you know what they say....

It didn't work and he could feel the tension between Toshi and the young one. It was almost a new goal, to free this bird. When Toshi left, Tak turned to go in the opposite direction, no need to stick around.

She watched Toshi leave with Kaya and she felt sorry for him. The poor boy would probably get beaten, and then Toshi would start on him. It was Tak's fault. Once they were out of sight, she turned to see Tak starting to walk off. She stalked after him, grabbed him, and threw him against the wall.

"You son of a bitch!" Her eyes were bright green with her anger. "Do you know what you've done? Do you have any idea what Toshi does to his slaves? Do you have any idea how much trouble you've gotten that poor boy into just by talking to him? And then trying to convince him to run away with you? What the hell were you thinking? You have no idea..."

She started pacing a little. She saw a glimpse of what Toshi did during the time she seduced him. There's nothing anyone could do for Kaya now. It was out of their control.

"He takes owning people seriously. I remember his last slave..." She shuddered a little. "It's disgusting, Tak, and you probably just got Kaya killed."

Tak had barely made it two steps before his back hit a wall an she was glaring at him. She was saying things he already knew. His eyes glowing red he glared down at her. Her pacing, her hissing, she was practically trembling.

"You honestly thought I got him in trouble on purpose?! What do you take me for?!" He grunted, looking away from her finally. All he knew was the Toshi was an elder, the ruler and a prick (per Kato) this was the first time he'd actually met the man.

"Oh, now people?! He hissed, stepping forward so he was a mere few inches away from her, glaring own. "I didn't get Kaya killed. He was far to protective of that one to kill him."
