To whomever may read this,
I'm trying to collect what love means.
Feelings, colours, smells, tastes and sounds.
Tell me what it means to you.
Please and Thank you,
Elizabeth.

Love
Love is unconditional. It is omnipresent, never ending and besides friendship, one of Gods noblest creations. They are almost interchangeable. You cannot have love without friendship nor can you have friendship without the trust that accompanies love. It is made of many pieces, some so intricate and tiny that you cannot understand them or explain them. Those little pieces, the indescribable ones, plus the huge, very noticeable parts can equal only one thing; Romance. But! you must never forget something. Romance is NOT red roses. It is the need and feel of real love. Simply put it is the true want of sunshine on your cheekbones. An expression that isn't the devotion of nature to man but rather the tug of the stars on our souls. We are unable to live with out love...

And that's as much as I've gathered.

Whenever I think of love, I think that it is the DIFFICULT realization
that something other than oneself is REAL.

It is a process, and a learning experience. When you love someone, you hurt at the mear thought of them going through the world.
YOu realize through the pain they are forced to endure that it is a horrible place.

that is it in a nut shell

I agree with both of these definitions. Especially Angela's.

I do believe that love is feeling that the world is too much for the person you "Love" to have to go through. You want to take it all from them and put it on yourself. This brings me to MY definition of Love. Part of it.

To me, Love is wanting, in your very core and in all honesty, another person's wellbeing to be assured before your own. Love is when you become less important to yourself than someone else. Love is also wanting to be a better and bigger person, because you're so inspired by how incredible this other person is. You want to continually grow and be better for them, because you feel like you have to find some way to repay them for how they have changed you and made you feel.

I could go on forever, seeing as I have experienced a sensation I call Love for the last several years, in the case of one particular girl. As well as with my few closest friends. However, I shall not go on forever, because I don't have the time.

But that's part of how I centrally feel about Love.

Love...

love is knowing. love is seeing things through their eyes. love is seeing.

love is caring about someone so much that you cant be "in love" with them,
i don't think anyone can be in love.

love is bigger than any of us could possibly start to imagine, so i guess all of us are "in love" and that also means that nobody can be out of love, because love is everywhere.

love, loved, lov·ing.
–noun
1. a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
2. a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.
3. sexual passion or desire.
4. a person toward whom love is felt; beloved person; sweetheart.

here i am trying to put something so profound into words.
words cant always say what is really going on
