GIMP? For some reason I thought you used Photoshop, you change over?

I love those Ratatouille signatures that guy (I think?) just looks so cool. The effects you use branch off the render really well, awesome stuff silver!

I've also used Gimp, PS is too expensive.

Thanks Fayt. That tutorial is like really detailed with everything in there and how to do it and what not for my current signature. Has some cool things in there to learn, like how to get a nice smooth finish.

Thanks. PS users can also use that tutorial, they just don't have the vine brush or the layer mode grain merge.

Fayt's a lot better than I was when I started. He'll get better.

It looks like a head and a hand with no body to be honest. :/

Is that because the color of his clothing is the same as that background color? The effects attached to it are awesome though.

The yellow there is his hoodie. It's to his shoulders. Thanks Fayt!

I'm in the middle of a gift spree, so here's another gift I made for someone else. No text this time since I'm tired of having text.

The way in which you manipulate the render and effects really stuns me.
It's really nice to view your signatures since they're quite unusual yet stands out very well.
Not to mention all this is from the free program, GIMP.
Keep it up Silver. :)

Something new, working with vert. signatures at the moment.

Thanks, I've just read a lot of tutorials and ask a bunch of questions, and I've been doing it for a year now.

That looks pretty cool, really nice light effects (kinda needed on that one lol).

Although I do wonder where could you actually use such signatures of that size?

Forums that are graphics from the top to the bottom. It's not too big, 120x390. I'm using them to work on my concepts.

I prefer the latest light it up one you've made. It's more of a simple, but effective look.

Eminem...meh I hate him but the sig look alright. :P

I agree, the BnW Light it Up signature is the better of the versions I've made.

I've got something new, hot out of Gimp.

Something new. Trying some things out with it.

I have to fix the lightness of it. I don't know why it's always looks darker after I save it.

I still can't believe these sigs. actually came out of GIMP.
It's just the way you put "effects" in your works, they just stand out so much, it's very special in a way.
Really awesome stuff, definitely one of the best artist around here.

The effects on that new sig are very nice, I prefer the one you are using as the Blue while it looks good doesn't match the signature as well.

At Roger: Don't underestimate GIMP buddy, GIMP users will take over the world! :P

I noticed that about the signature after I saved it and everything.

Gimp is awesome, like people say it's so hard to learn but in the end it's worth it because you have to go that extra mile to get it to look like a photoshop signature or to make it look amazing.

Wow, that latest one you added looks awesome.

Not sure exactly what it is, but it really catches the eye that's for sure.

One thing I'm noticing if you don't often have borders of any kind, arent you a border fan silver?
