Easy wins have never been my style

Has anyone played this? I'll be getting this game next week since I'm also a pretty big fan of Tales games, the idea of having characters from prior titles all in one on the surface sounds quite appealing. Those that have it, what are your thoughts of it? I'll clearly share mine next week when I have the game.
