Perhaps the most popular in the Tales of series, anyone here played it? For me, it was the first Tales game I played, and I must say I really enjoyed it. Lloyd is dumber then a doornail, but the main can fight. Kratos is one of the most awesome characters in a video game, as is his voice actor Cam Clarke. And then you have sexy Sheena to top things off.  It features the typical linear battle system which is fairly simple to the core, but difficult to master, the ideal battle system really. |

I've played it, it was the first Tales-game I played, but the third one I owned (after Tales of Eternia and Taled of the World: Radiant Mythology). I like it the most, the gameplay, the plot and the characters are really nice, and I love the battle system. LOL I like Cam Clarke, too  Yay for Kratos and Ryudo!

yes my first Tales of Game i think it was a bit too easy qq but the characters a really good ;D i love playing Sheena and my brother Zelos and my Friend Presea it was a really big think first time against Farah and Meredy and the Archer (waah i forgot the archers name) |

Don't forget Crescendo! [Eternal Sonata] I felt battles in the game were a bit easy as well Faize, dungeons on the other hand were pretty tough and I even needed to check a guide a couple of times to find my way through them. I rarely need to turn to a guide for an RPG, and here I did 2 or 3 times. I didn't like the dungeons in the game at all. >.< Those visible enemies annoyed me as well, because you couldn't actually tell what it was like most games where you can see them. That aside though, I loved it, the battle system was simply but fun, the story was great, and some of the characters were just outstanding. Kratos, Zelos & Sheena no doubt as standouts to me. |

Really? He did Crescendo? I always play with the Japanese voices, so I didn't notice. Yeah, the battles were really easy, but I loved them. I always played as Presea, she's my favourite <3 But I liked the dungeons, especially the bases of the Renegades. And that cursed book was really tough, I just couldn't finish it because it got on my nerves to see the same structure over and over again. Edited by Maria, Feb 5 2009, 03:52 AM.

Yep! Strangely though he was un-credited for it on the game itself, so it's been overlooked by some, sadly. I loved the battles, even though a simple defend > attack sequence with Lloyd was pretty much full proof. I never got to play it as multiplayer for battles, that is something I would have been curious about too. |
