i am a washing machine. do as i say. Posts: 184 Group: Admins Member #5 Joined: Jan 12, 2008 Gender Male	In Star Ocean 3, we get a more established/formal item creation thing than in SO2. Thoughts? Do you think that this was an improvement? How far up the ranks/how many points have you gotten? My rank was so woeful it is not worthy of repeating...that and it's been a while since I last played and I can't remember... Also, I never really got how inventing makes money. It takes money to make the items and to hire inventors and all that stuff and I don't recall ever getting any payment! And is there a way of controlling which of the three people on the assembly line gets the credit for the invention? (You've gotten in on my coattails for the last time Cliff! )

Star Ocean 4 is coming. =D Posts: 291 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Jan 10, 2008 Gender Male	Item Creation is definately...bigger in Till the End of Time. Now you have to find a facility (and upgrade it) as opposed to just making anything, and anywhere in Second Story. I guess from a realism point of view, it's better. The ranking system though is utterly pointless, I don't ever care about it. I can't get anything for been the #1 ranking so I don't bother keeping up with it. The one thing I HATED about Item Creation in SO3 is the inability to control the amount of Fol you use on an item...making it take something like 100 presses until you get the amount you want at times, WTF? I don't think you can control who get's the invention points either, just depends on whether that particular character can make it...and luck.
