Games that are bad, but you enjoy 'em anyway!; I'm sure you all have at least one.

Pretty much what the title says: Are there any games in your collection that are not very good, but for some reason, you still find some enjoyment in 'em?

I have one: Dirge of Cerberus.

It has terrible controls, a story that is poorly paced, cutscenes last longer than the gameplay itself (it is a SE game, though even then, it's a tad excessive...), and Vincent is one uncharismatic dude who doesn't add much of anything to quite a lot of the goings-on in the plot. Not really Main Character material, imo.

It's Metacritic score is a 57 (out of 100).

However...

...I can't seem to part with it.

Probably could chalk this one up to how much I enjoy FF VII, but if I did get rid of it, a chapter would be missing out of my compilation collection. And while it is a weak entry, it's still a part of it. Also, seeing some of the places from FF VII rendered in 3D was pretty cool. Another thing I liked was....

Everywhere Road Trip. Actually, I don't know if it's considered a bad game, but it's stupid as hell and I've spent hours and hours playing it.

And The Two Towers game for GBA. I have played every character in that a bajillion times xD Can't say why. It's certainly not my love of LotR, because the game does not do it justice by any means.

Where's my damn coffee?

I didn't really get a lot of enjoyment out of Star Fox Assault; it was really short, the enemies were all the same on every level, the character design for Fox was ugly, and the story/dialogue was fairly cheesy... but I've kept it, for some reason. Maybe because it's a Star Fox game, and I own them all (except the remake of 64 for the 3DS.) Plus, it was kinda fun. The music was good. It had some good elements. Also, have never gotten too far in Star Fox Command or whatever for the DS, although it seems fun from the bit I've played. Also haven't sold Wii Sports for some reason. Dunno why. Anyhoo...

I found Grandia II to be a bit like this. I didn't really like it, but I kept playing it anyway, even got an urge to play it again years later.

For most of the part, I was thinking, meh, story is ok, battles are getting increadibly repeatitive...

But for some reason, I still enjoyed it. I still can't really figure out what it was.

Oh, come to think of it, an even better example would be the AFL games. The detail, controls and just about everything is terrible, often while playing it I criticise how bad it is.

But I keep playing it anyway, just because it is the AFL. Been able to beat teams you don't like by 10 goals + always feels good.

Oh! Funny story.

My little sister had this Scooby Doo mystery game for computer...
My friend came over one day and the three of us shamelessly spent all day beating it xDD

Scooby-Doo is awesome. I bet another fun game could be made today too. Maybe the company that makes those Lego games can pick up the license for it.

That also sort of reminded me of the PC game Spider-man Cartoon Maker I had when I was a youngster. Not that it was bad by any means, but the stuff I came up with was terrible... Ahh, the creativity of a 10-year-old girl child. "Spider-man Sleepover Party" was my magnum opus.

You already know mine.

Final Fantasy X-2...
Also, Tarzan for the PS1. Mostly like it for immature reasons, like you can knife monkeys in the butt. And make Tarzan do monkey noises.
