Easy wins have never been my style

I found this while searching around on the internet, a host of big old school titles here. But what do you think should - or should not be in there? I have to agree with Street Figher II & Tetris, I'd even be tempted to put them higher. Two of my absolute old school favs right there. 10) Alex Kidd [1986] 9) Street Fighter II [1991] 8) Tetris [1984] 7) Sonic the Hedgehog [1991] 6) The Legend of Zelda [1986] 5) Mario Bros [1983] 4) Asteriods [1979] 3) Super Mario World [1991] 2) Space Invaders [1978] 1) Pac-Man [1980] Source |

Oh, that reminds me, I played Puzzle Bobble (which is made by the same people as Bubble Bobble) as a kid and I loved it! Completely forgot about it til now. That list looks about right. They were a bit before my time but even so, I've played at least some form of probably half that list because they were influential enough to have left a legacy. Though, I'd probably put Mario a bit higher on the list as well. |

Alex Kidd is only on there because it came free with the console just like Wii Sports. xD |

It is scary to think that early FF's and games like Secret of Mana/Chrono Trigger are almost in that category... (20yrs) |

I agree with the list for the most part, though a couple of the games, I've never heard of. And YES, BUBBLE BOBBLE. Also, Frogger. |

Oh Bubble Bobble, I LOVED that when I was a kid. That is pretty damn unlucky to miss out for sure! |

It's more fun when you have two people playing, too. I think I remember what bubbles spell. EXTEND? |

Yeah it was, way back then my brother and I would play it together. I always remember when you cleared the level you'd face the wall and keep blowing bubbles to pop a few to sneak in a few extra points.
