It's a belief Australian (and New Zealand) gamers have had for a long time, and I happened to stumble accross an article which further proves it.

So bloody annoying, why are we getting raped so badly when it comes to buying games? :scream:

Hahaha, my games cost half the price. xD Yay for living in the region with the cheapest prices.

/Saw title, came in here to say just one thing.

"No shit."

It's really unfair for you guys.

(And since the Canadian dollar is now higher than the American one, we win all the even priced ones BP)

bite my shiny metal-

I know what you mean! Even when the Australian dollar is higher than the US dollar, we still have to pay more. It's not just games as well, iTunes does it as well (not that I use it).

Actually, I remember an entire conversation my parents had about this. My father was claiming how everyone at his work said, "Australia is the best country to live in!" Then he replied that he doesn't think there's any country better to live in than the United States, because even if the environment in Australia is better, their prices are ridiculously high.

I guess it was true.

That is the most annoying thing, and Australian businesses are wondering why Australian's are important more goods from overseas.

It ain't rocket science, if our dollar is worth more, anything purchased from overseas should cost less - but it doesn't. Some greedy bastards are cashing in while the consumers continue to suffer.

Speaking of importing, not sure which countries these guys ship to outside of the UK, but they do provide freee first class shipping.
