has anyone played the new version of the Nintendo 64 classic, mind you its only on 360.

I hired it yesterday, and started playing it...well...not right away, since my mum was watching a movie on the big tv :ermm:
but when i did start playing it, i loved it, sure the aiming can get a bit jumpy, but its still awsomely awsome.

I love doing deathmates against bots, its so fun, i tried twice, won both times :P

I haven't played the new one since I don't have an Xbox 360, I did however own the N64 version and loved it to death so I'd imagine the Xbox 360 one would almost be as good, I don't think Rare are as good as they used to be though.

The N64 version probably had the best AI custom battle options I'd seen in the older systems. The ability to play 1-4 players and more then double that with CPU allies or opponents was like creating your own MMO atmosphere with your mates sitting by you side. Some of the best 2-4 player times I've had involved the N64 version of the game alot.

I hope the 360 one still has Laptop Gun and the Farsight Gun, they owned! XD

i didnt own the N64 version, but i still loved it, anf with the 360 version, i love it even more, the graphics are so perfect, and the game is slightly more realistic :P

Sadly, they dont have the firsight gun, they probably though it was a little unfair, but they do have the laptop, and it kicks a$$, its rate of fire is insane

Speaking of this, I own this on Xbox 360 now. I picked up a second hand copy extremely cheap so I figured I'd try it out.

I think it's lost it's edge from the N64 version, but it's still alright to play and has advanced in some areas. It does feel rushed though, this was going to be a GCN game at one stage after all, it's clearly not very well designed for Widescreen like most 360 titles.

Not as good as the original...but still ok.
