I think we're ALL Aussies here ;D I like Jet, Powderfinger, Missy Higgins and strangely, the slightly operatic folk stylings of Kate Miller Heidke. |

The 4 active ones to date are aussie anyway, haha! Some other great Aussie bands, Eskimo Joe, Something for Kate, Silverchair & The Living End. Eskimo Joe has being doing quite well over the last few years, Silverchair is back and managing to milk their prior success to be big again (although I liked their old stuff, around Frogstomp time much better). Something for Kate pops up with a good hit occasionally, and The Living End haven't really done anything big for a while. But I still love all of their stuff. Of those you guys listed Missy, Powderfinger and Ben Lee are all quite good as well. |

Updating my list The Grates, Something With Numbers, Sneaky Sound System, and indeed The Living End (I'm quite happy to jump on that bandwagon XD). I like the new one from End of Fashion as well, though I don't like some of their previous stuff. The latest one from Josh Pyke was good as well, but the rest of his stuff puts me to sleep (GLP would like it though lol).I HATE Empire of the Sun!! |
