Do you currently play any mmo games? What ones have you tried in the past? Could you say something about them? If they made a new mmo out of a game/game series you like what would it be? I've been Beta testing APB for a while now but I'm not allowed to say anything more than that, I'll probably write a review of the BETA when I'm allowed. In the past I've played.. World of Warcraft - for years on and off (since about three months after it launched in Europe >_>'). I've not played it very much for about a years now since I don't much care for end game in WOTLK. WoW is the best MMORPG imo, I wish it wasn't so because I do want something new but nvm. Its lost most of its mojo over the years I think, but its still fun with a group of pals. I wouldn't recommend starting to play it now though, wait until Cataclysm ![]() I'm pretty likely to go back in Cataclysm myself I think. I'll probably at least BETA test it. ![]() Aion - Another one I tested (beta testers were rewarded with a funny hat ). This game was great until about level 17ish, it had a waaay better start to it than WoW but by the time I was level 20 I was really starting to have doubts becuase it suddenly became this horrible grind and by level 22 I just couldn't play any more. The grind was too slow.I played in live, I only bothered getting to level 15 in beta then making a new character to test them out, not realizing about the nasty grind ahead. The games launch was also super bad..things like 10 hour queues in the evening. The gathering is the most fun I ever saw in one of these games, but the crafting system is the most horrible slow thing I ever saw so that cancels it out. Game was super pretty, shame I couldn't have withstood it for longer becuase I had made a very nice and healthy guild very quickly..grr. Guild Wars - no thx k. This game doesn't even have a jump button, I mean come on guise. At the time it looked pretty at least. Warhammer Online - Really enjoyed the first day for some reason but didn't like it after that Maybe becuase it was all shiny and new? Maybe I hated it becuase I had to play a PvP sever to be with my friends so I kept getting shot in the back whilst questing ect.?To be honest I really don't remember that much about it other than an Orc quest where you got to chuck crap at a human statue (that was good) and the Goblin dance being cool. I tried some others but their names escape me (they were THAT good!) New mmo.. If there was anyway they would manage to do a good job I would like to see a Syndicate Wars mmo Edited by Gumdrop, May 6 2010, 10:04 PM.

I play WoW currently, only just started though and my only character is a lvl 50 pally ![]() but I've also been playing Dungeons and Dragons Online (DDO) alot and it's a fun, free game that goes off of the 3/3.5 edition on D&D, if anyone is interested in playing with me I play on the Khyber server and my characters are: Whitelion (fighter 7) and Silvershaper (wizard 3) |

LAWL @ Kain with his bird. xD You mention that everywhere. Ryzom is my favourite MMORPG but I can't play it anymore. Then Mabinogi, and then Endless Online. I do like Grand Fantasia and Cloud Nine though~ And DOMO is alright. As well as Goonzu. And a few other random MMOs I've played back in the day. |

Questing is usually what turns me off about MMORPGs. I'd rather have a deep storyline than quests. D: |
