The war between the makers of Matt Groening and Seth Macfarlane. Which of the above do it for you? I love Futurama, but the old episodes of the Simpsons would get it over the line for me but if it were based on the new ones, Futurama for sure (I voted for the Simpsons). Family guy comes in third. American Dad is a lot like Family Guy for me. |

Futurama! I love that show, Bender is a freaking riot and cracks me up all the time. As the Simpsons have aged I've started to lose interest in it, still hilarious but really starting to feel quite old. I don't mind Family Guy either, although I am not particularly fond of American Dad, although maybe that's just because I'm an Aussie. xD |

The Simpsons FTW cause it's hilarious & the characters are all funny. Futurama , Some episodes are good but the characters kinda suck. |

I love the characters in Futurama! You've got the hilarious mix of the main cast (Leela, Fry, Bender, etc.) but you've also got characters like Morbo, Scruffy and that old lady thrown in for Simpsons-esque randomness. Simpsons does own though

The Simpsons is far funnier than the others. Family Guy and American Dad had episodes that were filled with mindless, stupid humor that I didn't find funny at all. At least The Simpsons had some intelligence is good humor in it! |

Family Guy is retarded. I find none of it remotely amusing. I grew up with the Simpsons. There wasn't an episode that passed by that didn't have a part with good humor! |

Family Guy is absolutely idiotic! It's they're trying too hard to be funny. I find myself not laughing even once throughout the episode. I don't find racist comments and such things to be hilarious. In contrast, The Simpsons knew how to take ordinary things and turn them into funny stuff. Some of the quotes are priceless, and it's a show that seems like a normal everyday life, with some hilarious things going on. For example, when homer was trying to get a letter back, here were the lines: Homer (disguising Burns' voice): Hello, my name is Mr. Burns. I believe you have a letter for me. Worker: Okay, Mr. Burns. What's your first name? Homer(still in disguised voice): *pauses* I don't know. I found myself laughing so hard at that point. It beats Family Guy's stupid jokes any day! |

I must say that the cat lady for Simpson's just wins it. If it was a show about her, I'm game. I love Futurama, I just watched the episode where they find their opposites in another world using a box. Hilarious! |

The cat lady? I found that Homer was a classic character in The Simpsons. His stupidity makes me laugh. Everybody loves Homer, right? |

Of course, Homer's a classic. He is a legendary character, without him The Simpson's wouldn't of been on the air for as long as they have. |

Actually, when The Simpsons was getting started, Bart was the main character, then Homer took the role. |

Bart was voiced by a girl, who knew? I don't think there was a single episode of The Simpsons that goes by without me laughing. Even in their worst episodes (like when Marge and Homer first met), they still manage to fit some humor into it. |

And some episodes, like Marge getting a painting careerm or looking at Homer's teen years, it's still humorous. Family Guy? NEVER HUMOUROUS! |

Even when they try to be funny they aren't. "Oh, I have a mustache so i can speak Italian." Where the hell is the humor in that? |

I hated American Dad, too. It was a bit funnier than Family Guy, but it was still pretty humorless. I didn't laugh a whole lot. Actually, I only laugh about 1% of the time. Compare that to The Simpsons, where I'm sure to laugh at least 90% of th time! |

I actually found that rather funny. But everything else is just wrong. Isn't it on Cartoon Network in America. We have BBC3 for it. |

It was a little bit smarter than Family Guy, but it was still not that humorous. But no cartoon, and I mean no cartoon, can sink lower than Family Guy! But that's an opinion!=P |

No, they all fail. Those aren't comedy shows, they're an embarassment. Homer would run them all over, and then Bart would follow up by slingshooting those morons! |

I still say Homer's the best, because of all the crap that happens to them. There was one episode where he recaped on all those events, and said "What a great week." I couldn't stop laughing! THAT is entertainment! |

The show wouldn't be the same without Homer. He's the source of 90% of the humor in the show. Without him, it'll feel really empty. That's why he appears in about every episode. |

The Simpsons for me. Though admittedly it's not as good as it used to be, but it still manages to raise a laugh. When you consider they have done 20+ seasons and over 400+ episodes then it's only natural that it will be hard to keep up the quality all the time. Futurama is alright as well, but I haven't watched it for ages. As for Family Guy and American Dad i've never really watched either of them. |
