I'm sure just about everyone here has played at one of them.

I've actually played and owned everyone numbered title to date, it's no doubt one of my preferred fighting games out there.

I tend to like both Xiayou & Hwoarang the most in the series.

Discuss the series, and your favorite characters in it here.

bite my shiny metal-

I've played Tekkens 3 - 5 and I do enjoy it (though 4 was less than stellar). I don't play much anymore cos my Tekken 5 save data got corrupted somehow on a few occasions, getting rid of all my hard work :scream: But yeah, fun game. :P

I use Eddy, who they inexplicably replaced with Christie but I do dabble with a few of the other characters including Baek/Law, Lei and Raven.

My favourite characters are: Lili, Hwoarang, Baek and Leo.

I have played 1, 2, 3, 4, Tag Tournament, and 6 which I've just bought.

If anybody has a PS3 and would like a match, my name is : KillerMrPumpkin. Don't ask me why I come up with that name but I did.

I've played all of them but only own 1,3,4 and Tag. Unfortunately don't plan on getting the PS3 one since it didn't seem as though it had advanced much from the older ones..if I see it cheap though I might buy it.

Ling Xiayou is my favourite! Just like Talim from Soul Calibur is my favourite from that becuase I like the smaller, faster type characters best and both are cool to boot :3

Tekken series and Soul Calibur are by far my favourite beat 'em up series from the ones I've tried. I'd say Tekken 3 was the best imo.

Yep... Tekken 3 was a great turning point in Tekken history. Was so great to play it, even now when I see it or hear music from it, I would have a round or two.

Tekken 5 on the other hand, was a big success too I would say. Devil Within addition was quite good as well. Characters and stages were nicely made. And the music part is something to catch your ear.

Favourite stage (and music by the way) - Moonlight Wilderness
Favourite characters - King, Eddie/Christie, Jin.

I like Jin as he is in T5. His fighting style has been changed a bit in that part. And King is great. All those breaking combos are very nice, and can end up with one catch at the start = 100% energy loss / death for the opponent. Unless someone knows how get out of it.

I agree with pretty much all of you guys, I felt that Tekken 3 was the one that really put the series right up there with the other fighting game series around. I've played Tekken 3 more then any other, and it will probably remain that way.

My favs as I've said before have always been Ling Xiayou & Hwoarang, although when I like to be cheap I don't mind using Eddy/Christie either. Just mash kick buttons and you usually go ok. XD

I loved playing Eddy in Tekken 3, but he doesn't seem as fun to me since for some reason. I'd like to go see that film with a friend, I only know one Tekken fan (offline ;) ) who wants to see it. Not that I blame them, it's hard to trust video game films to be good.
