bite my shiny metal-

I've been trying out a bit of Dark Cloud 2, Drakengard, etc. and I'm finding that they're not really retaining my interest. You've got a bit of story then you've gotta kill a million things for 2 more minutes of story. How important is story? Does anybody like dungeon crawlers, etc. where the emphasis is on gameplay? |

There has to be a reasonable amount of story, otherwise I wouldn't even consider it an RPG. RPG's are all about playing out the story of the characters involved, I haven't played any of those games you pointed out though to be able to say for myself. |

Anything you want

I agree with Fayt. Its usually the story that keeps me playing an RPG. Or conversely its the lack of a story that makes me quit playing an RPG. |
