Of the next gen systems, which do you have, which do you think will be most successful, which is the best value for money? Discuss your thoughts on the never ending console war.

I voted for the Wii because it's a bit different to the other two. XBox360 and PS3 (as far as I know) are pretty much the same only with different games. Wii is innovative and cheaper, but there isn't a great selection of games for it...well, games I want to play anyway. PS3 would be ranked a bit higher than the 360 for me because it gives you free online play whereas XBox demands a small fee. As for which one(s) I own? None!

Which do you have? None, I honestly can't afford any of them at the moment, and my PS2/PSP combination seems way sufficient right now in terms of my gaming needs. Which do you think will be most successful? The majority of my friends thinks Wii will be the most successful. And it's probably the most popular console at the moment around my area. Which is the best value for money? I reckon it's the 360, it has most of the PS3 games, and it's nearly half the price of a PS3, it's certainly a great console and is well matched for the PS3 due to its low prices. P.S. Not going to vote until I get my hands on one of these consoles at a later date. |

Ohh, update time. I've got just the Wii at the moment, but I love it. I'll be getting the new 60GB Xbox 360 soon, then I'll be able to get games like Infinite Undiscovery, Star Ocean 4, Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia and many more. All the good RPGs are heading to 360 it seems, so I'm definitely jumping on board! |

Hard to say for me..they all seemed disappointing in one way or another. I suppose the Xbox is the best though since it seems to be getting the most good games soon and its cheap. Its just a shame that it still seems kinda prone to being faulty..:p |

The Xbox 360 'faulty' problems are not as apparent anymore though. In the first year or so many got the "Red Ring of Death" because Microsoft are typical impatient Americans wanting a quick buck. ![]() They have improved on that problem dramatically since though. I've got 360 & Wii, and I still play Wii more atm. Although I do have more games on it so it's hard to compare, they are such different systems. |

They fixed the red ring but I got my Xbox at the end off September and it already has a fault. So I guess they still have some faulty tendencies. |

Yes, I'll be getting a PS3 by the end of this month! Which only leaves Quarky who doesn't have a next-gen here! But yeah, I honestly hope I've made the right decision to go with the PS3, from what I've heard over at the 360 corner (the infamous RRoD), things are not so shiny. But you gotta compliment the cheap prices (half of a PS3 I think). |

Nooooo!! Don't leave me behind with my grammophone! We might be getting a PSP actually When is say we, I mean one of my siblings is getting it (they're good for one thing at least ) and I will be scabbing it every now and again. I think it's a limited edition Final Fantasy one as well....wait, does that count as next gen?

I still say PS3 or PS2. I don't care if Xbox is getting them or not. The playstation line still has the creme of the crop in all RPGs, so I'll stick with it. Oh ho ho ho. |

I find the Wii to be the best. Disregarding its target audience... It's a good system, although things get frustrating at times. And I own all three system! I'm so spoiled!
