For proof, check the Suggestions Thread, where he said: Fayt Yeah, a random chatter thread in the LE area sounds like a good idea. It's crazy the kinds of discussions that can come up in threads like that, sounds like fun. Personally I'd prefer something like that over a Shoutbox actually. As you can see, the shoutbox has a limit of only 60 posts per hour, which is to say, a little unfair for the handful of us who love to talk. This thread's sole purpose is for people to discuss whatever they feel like. It provides reprieve for members who are stressed out, and it gives others a place to just hang out and talk to another. If you think about it, this thread is far more convenient than the shoutbox. Here are a list of reasons: There is no limit as to how much you can post in an hour. Your posts will show up with your mini profile, meaning there can be no impersonation; you don't need to replace the word "Guest" with your username. You can quote other people's posts, providing them with the acknowledgment that you are referring to them and not another person. You can type as much as you want instead of just the tiny space provided for you in the shoutbox. Also note that this thread exists in the Light Entertainment Zone, meaning post counts will not be added here. If you just want to post here to raise your post count, that's too bad; try somewhere else, because it will not work here. I don't know about you guys, but I think that a forum that has people posting, even though the posts are somewhat considered to be spam, is much better than a forum where nobody is even posting at all. Even though this thread's existence is contradicting the rules, since the rules state that there is to be no spam, I suppose Fayt does want the other rules to still apply, right? I mean, you can't just post here to advertise, flame, or do anything else that disrupts the forum. This is not my decision, though, but I just figured it's common sense. Remember that even though I suggested it, Fayt, the site creator, approved of it, meaning this thread is valid. Without any further ado, have fun with this thread, everyone!
