I went to Play & Trade the other day to trade in a couple of my PSP games, SOCOM and Fast and the Furious. Both were brand new and only got 17 bucks for both of them. I was kind of disappointed with getting only 17 bucks. They didn't have many games I was interested in for the PSP either, I ended up getting Need for Speed Carbon. |

17 bucks? That sucks. My sister traded in a DS game at EB Games a while ago, which costed I think $30. She got $13 for it. But then, we all know that EB is evil. |

You always get ripped off trading in games. I remember purchasing Warriors Orochi 2 on PS2 for $59.95. Tried to sell it a week later (as I got the Xbox 360 version instead) and I was offered $15, bull*%#$! |

I have a whole bunch of games I'm gonna trade in, and hopefully get more than $8.50 per game. I need to find a game that I'll play after I beat it. |

Why does the game lose value when it enters your hands? That doesn't seem fair at all. I've been thinking of trading games for money, but now that I've read this, I might not, seeing as how the prices aren't going to be that great. |

I was talking to the people at Play & Trade about this today, they said it's based on popularity. My games were sport type games, since not that many people want the old sport games, you aren't going to get as much for it. As for games like FF and SO, you would probably get more for them then for a sports game. |

The answer is, e-Bay. You'll always get better trade value there if you are keen on using it. There will always be someone, somewhere that can't get their hands on certain games and will pay more for them. Win-win really. |
