Has anyone else attempted any solos for this game? For any character, really, not just Roddick. I'm wondering if it's possible to solo it with one character that casts Symbology... |

I'm not hardcore enough to try solo's in any game for that matter. If I had more free time I'd perhaps try such a thing, but my habit of using everyone equally would probably prevent that as well. Good luck to anyone that does solo plays! |

Wait, maybe it is possible to do a Symbology playthrough. It worked in SO3! But that was with a whole party. Okay, I'll soon try try a party of Symbologists. Let's see how fun that'll be... |

I did that once when fighting Gabriella. Millie keeps her from BASHING everyone with Crush, that's all you need, really. It seems possible to me, because MP refills slightly after battles. |

I am now doing my Ilia solo. So far, I'm to the part after delivering the Bunny to Badam ang getting rid of Cyuss, about to go to Portmith. I have 2 hours, 57 minutes, and a level 56 Ilia!=P |

Well, you'll have to deal with the whole Phia thing if you pass up Ashlay. Then, you'll have to ditch Ioshua. From there, the game would let you choose your own party. I learned that Mavelle's joining requirement go like this: Ioshua alone - Joins automatically. Ashlay alone - You have the OPTION to recruit her or not. Ioshua & Ashlay/Cyuss - Joins automatically. Without Ioshua, Ashlay, OR Cyuss, she won't join. And no other members are forced into your group. You don't even encouter anyone else. And, if you're doing an Ilia solo, don't worry about the Omega SFT, because Ilia cannot use it, so that pulls T'nique out of the equation. I don't think you'll see Phia again... But, you can still be forced the get Perrici, because when you get the Van Emblem, that PA blocks all others in Kraat, so you're kinda stuck on that one. But, I imagine it's quite simple to get to the end of the game with just Roddick, Mille, Ilia, and Ronyx. In fact... screw the solo, just try that team, the whole way. |

I can't stop a solo now because of Roddick's level. He's only level 7, and Ilia is already level 75, so you see, I'd have to waste ten more hours grinding Roddick's level. Then, I'd need to do an additional 20 hours to grind the other two, follow by 20 more hours leveling them all up to level 255 fighting Gabriella, whereas Ilia alone only takes about 4 or 5 hours to do so. |

Well, just follow that advice. Avoid the Omega SFT, you don't need it. Have you got the Cestus of Poison... or something better? |

Not yet. But I heard customizing the Cestus of Poison with something results in a better weapon. Though, the Kaiser Knuckles in the bonus dungeon is still the ebst one. |

You mean the Cave of the Seven Stars? Well... that's kinda far away. I know there's ONE better weapon than the Cestus of Poison. My reccomendation is Replicate it several times, and read a guide... actually hang on. *looks* Ah, here we go. The Dragon Claw. Customize the Cestus of Poison with a Moonrock and there you go! Where would we be without strategy guides? |

And sadly, Moonrocks are among the rarer alchemy items, and alchemy isn't acquired until the last Skill set in Van City... Bummer. But, you can use that info for later! |

And if I don't level up Millie or any other characters, I won't be able to perform Alchemy that well!:P Oh, this sucks. I think I'll get Mavelle, since she can learn all talents and give me an easier time with other things outside of leveling up Ilia. |

Then you'd best get Ashlay, if you're gonna ditch Cyuss, he's your best bet. Because, like I said, with Ashlay alone, you can decide whether or not she comes along. |

Yeah, I already did ditch Cyuss. I'm thinking that when I get Mavelle, I'm gonna save two files, one for my current Ilia solo, and one for my upcoming Mavelle solo. It'll help with all the money I currently have. |

Maybe I'll do a Cyuss or Ashlay solo someday, too, after my current ones are over with. Perhaps I just might do a solo for every fighter... Not symbologists, though, they're too slow with their attacks. |

I found that when Ioshua learns Level 10 Godspeed... he moves soooooo fast on the battlefield, it's ridiculous! |

But then again, Godspeed is random, and all characters can move fast with it. It's just a shame that the Bunny Shoes don't exist in the game... Does it? |

Ioshua, like I said, move EXTREMELY fast with the abiltiy equipped. No, not when attacking, when just moving around. Try it, you'll be AMAZED! |

But Erys doesn't seem to move fast with it. I had her with every skill maxed out, and the amount of time it took her to flap her wings was the equivalent of the time it takes Ilia to move half way across the battlefield! That's why I don't like fighting frontrow using symbologists. If I solo with one, I think I'll just rely on Symbols to do the job. |

Not with me, Erys moved just as fast, if not FASTER! Anyway, it only seems to work with Ioshua and Erys, guess it because of the wings. |
