I'm curious, how many hours per week does everyone estimate to play video games?

For me, in the years past I could easily find around 20 odd hours per week for games, these days I'm unlikely to hit 10 per week as I have more going on in life now with work, study, family and other commitments. Not that I'm complaining, but I'm certainly not the gamer I used to be.

Yeah, at the moment my gaming life is literally non-existent. However, when I do get time like on the holidays and stuff, I would probably get in at least 21 hours a week (which I should be using more productively). :P

Sadly, I am very low nowadays with the gaming. 45-50 hours a week working + 15 hours a week driving to work DOES NOT HELP ANY!!! lol I am very disappointed that i don't get as much gaming in. back in the day i could get a good 20+ a week. now i am down to a few.

It is a sad state ladies and gentleman. I think it will pick up though. just have to make some time.

I vote for people to be able to play when they are at work. Who's with me? I'm sure that would be hard if you're doing an outdoor job though. There's always handhelds but for people who lack good eyesight like myself that's almost not an option. Plus alot of bosses don't even allow you to play. There should be a change in policy for the hungry gamers. It isn't fair when it takes up so much time that you can't enjoy yourself. That's more like bondage because it takes our freedom. It's an obstacle and bane that most things are tagged with economical chains that you have to labor within the economy and gain economic brownie points to purchase the items of your choice. It's one of the many things that leads us away from being an ideal species. Money isn't everything and it has caused more suffering than anything else, due to the greedy sacrificing their loved ones for it.

It's the summer right now, and I don't have a job, so you'd think I'd be gaming all day, but I haven't really been playing as much as I used to. Even with school I'd get well over 30 hours of gaming in a week, mostly Halo, and now since I graduated I have all the free time in the world but I haven't been playing nearly as much as I used to. I'd say I'm still in the 26-30 hour range, which seems like it's still more than everyone here, but I guess I'm loosing a bit of interest in playing video games all day.

I still voted 31+ though, haha.

I voted for the last option. I tons of free time a day, even during the school year. I don't do any after school sports or outside school activities, so that leaves me with over eight hours free a day. I usually play about five to seven hours of video games a day, depending on how good the game is getting. If I'm bored, I just go downstairs where my family usually is, and I either talk of watch TV with them. But I do manage a lot of video gaming in my life. It only takes me a week to beat a game. Sometimes, two weeks, at the most.

I try and manage my game playing. Usually around two hours a day, and there are days I don't play at all!

To be honest, I haven't played video games for that long in days. I've grown quite addicted to forums. There are actual people to talk to, and it's much more fun to share your thoughts. So I think my video gaming has gotten less now that I've found this forum along with my home forum.

I haven't played video games for ten days now. Only a little PSP, and that's it. A little as in ten minutes. I've been so busy here and there that I just can't find time to play them.

I can barely find the time to play even Kingdom Hearts right now. So many chores, it's ridiculous!
