Nyum Posts: 170 Group: Members Member #29 Joined: Sep 23, 2008 Gender Female	Eurogamer reviewed Tales of Vesperia today and gave it 8/10 I was strongly thinking of getting it before but now I'll more or less defiantly get it. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/tales-of-vesperia-review The only thing that gets me is Quote: while universally American in casting, is unusually well-acted, elevating the dialogue to something more engaging than genre fans will be used to. Sarcastic? Quote: an optional press of the back button at almost any point triggers a 'skit', a conversation between your team-mates about the current plot concern (with an Achievement for listening to all 500-odd of them) What a nice idea, and so simple too.

Seriously, I prefer it over the JP Seiyuu's. Then again, I do prefer dubs..but still, Vesperia's is pretty damn good. There's one scene, near the beginning of the game, when you meet Karol. So damn funny. "PREPARE TO DIE, EGGBEAR!!"

This is definately something I'm looking to get when it finally gets in Australia. One thing that caught my attention "There's no denying that Tales of Vesperia lacks the big-budget feel of a Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest" I never thought Dragon Quest would be something of a big budget, would they? Heh oh well, of the few Dragon Quest titles I've seen I don't really believe it. Neither had outstanding graphics, much less cutscenes. shrugs

I've heard much worse but I wouldn't praise it as they did either.

I don't know much about making games but I guess that takes massive amounts of money. Because there are basically no fancy cutscenes like say Final Fantasy or Star Ocean has. Anyway, I'm in no position to comment about budgets I guess, I just play the games. And I want to get my hands on Tales of Vesperia already! (Although I want The Last Hope more)
