There are a whole heap of races in the Star Ocean series. Here are some examples.
But there are way more. Which race is your favourite? Which race would you be if given the opportunity? Which race would you like to see more of in future games? |

Couldn't say which my favorite is but I would LOVE to be a Blue Dolphin or a Tetragene! Or possibly a cross between the two? That way I get the third eye AND I can swim all day  ARE YOU LOOOKING AT MY EYE!?! More Tetragene. I think the third eye seems pointless but creepy (unless it can see in a different sort of vision?). |

I liked the vendeeni as an enemy in the game. I can't say that I would want to be one given the chance but as far as an enemy in till the end of time, I would have to say that I liked them. It was a very interesting character design and they seemed to come in at the right time in the game as far as when you actually get to fight vendeeni soldiers. However, I don't think they should be a part of future games, they can be referenced or whatever to bring a sense of connection between games, but I think future games should have something new. |

I'd love to be a Fellpool, they are the most adorable one of them all! I'd wiggle my tail and it would match the color of my hair.

I like Fellpools and Faetharfolks the best. Fellpools have cat ears and tails! On the other hand, Featherfolks have wings and can fly for short distances. I do wonder about the Blue Dolphins... |

I'd say the Featherfolk. They seem so interesting to me. Of course, the Fellpool are also interesting, being all cute and everything. |

I wonder what the difference between a Menodix and a Fellpool is? They both have tails, except for Lesser Fellpools, who had cat ears as well. Wait, why did Leon have cat ears? He was a Fellpool, not a lesser Fellpool. |

And he doesn't have a tail, either. Maybe he got it surgically removed because he didn't want it. Maybe Fellpool have changed in 20 years, or they're different on Expel. |

Perrici was the only character I've seen so far that had extreme cat-like qualities. Millie never acted like that, although she did claw her enemies when she attacked... |

There's also Meracle from The Last Hope. If you look at the people in Lacuer in Second Evolution, you'll see that some of them have cat ears but no tail. Others have cat ears and tails. |

Again, haven't gotten that far in The Last Hope. I'm almost done with my leveling grinding in the Hoffman Ruins. But, the Fellpool sure are an unusual race. They may derive from cats, but they don't share too many cat qualities. I never saw Roddick purring or anything. |

But those are ears growing from the sides. Leon has cat ears growing on the top of his head like a cat. Besides, Roddick's presumable ancestor, Eleyna Farrence, looked the same, with even pointier ears, and she was way before Roddick. |

No. Leon's description clearly states that he is a Fellpool. Lesser Fellpools have tails, cat ears, and bear the traits of a cat. Leon presumably has no tail, but he does have cat ears. And he doesn't seem like a cat. However, he is a Fellpool. That's one confusing race. |
