I haven't actually had Opera in my part before but after a bit of searching, it appears that you need to use machinist. Hyperlauncher needs a Green System and Refraction Beam requires the Black System. Apparently, it's easier to get these items with Opera at level 10 and with Orchestra.

We just have less of a life than you do probably xD Also it is easily in my top 3 favorite games of all time so that helps. Still a fair way off finishing the voice board though *sniff*

It's a very rare item, just keep buying more kits and using them. It'll come eventualy.

Tip: Sell what you make, so you can get the money to buy more kits.

Oh, Opera is the best healer in the game! Seriously, though, at only 9 MP per use, she can instantly heal 5195 HP to all party members! Two Healing Stars, 18 MP, and your whole party is fully healed!

On another topic, I've only ever gotten one character to level 255. And that's Leon.

Well, guess I'm a bit screwed over. I already got Ashton, so I'll just have to wait for my second playthrough.

Getting opera also allows for a full party of fighters. Just imagine how destructive a party of Claude, Opera, Chisato and (whoever) would be! :D

But really, does the game need to be that broken?

Well, once Opera dies in battle, the game broken anymore. But at least it has powerful bosses like Ethereal Queen and Gabriel Limiter Off.

There are three ultimate ones: Gabriella, Ethereal Queen, and Gabriel Unlimited.

Anyway, back on topic: getting Opera also allows for you to get Ernest. And getting Ernest means you have access to the two best PAs in the game. What are they? Well, they're the ones where you can steal the 500 DEF Battle Suits form him!^^

With the Thief's Glove, right? I didn't bother with that so far. I think I'll try it in my next playthrough.

Yeah. There are only five Battle Suits, three of which can only stolen, and two of which can only be stolen from Ernest, who can only be gotten by getting Opera.

No, but it has one of the highest defense. The BloodyArmor and the Seraphic Garb are better.

Fate, what's the best team that you've assembled? I assume Opera is in it somewhere.

In my opinion, Opera is crucial to having an overpowered team. In an RPG, power isn't everything, because if you just recklessly go to attack an enemy, they might kill you little by little. Healing is also extremely important. So you get it now, right, how Opera is crucial? Although she has to sacrifice one of her two battle skill slots to be able to use Healing Star, she still has the other open for powerful moves like Hyperlauncher or Tracking Plasma. Opera is also the physically powerful, and she's the best healer. So, you get two in one: a powerful frontline fighter and an instant healer. With her, one could use a party of four that consists purely of fighters, because Opera could heal them all with no charge time. That means that you can utilize offensive power to easily take down the enemy, and you can heal without the use of items, in case anybody is hurt.

I suppose the best party would be: Opera, Claude, Chisato, and whoever the next best fighter is. But I like Leon the best in the game, so my part is: Leon, Claude, Opera, and Chisato.

Still, one could say that any characters are useful, as long as you know how to properly use them. But they can't deny Opera's usefulness.

But her Hyperlauncher, her strongest skill, isn't learned by leveling up. It's learned by creating a Black Upgrade using Machinery. The thing is: it's so hard to make that even at level over 200 and a level 10 Machinery skill, it'll still take a long time to make. I have never created it yet, and I've tried over 100 times already.

Well, it can't be that worth it! I mean, there's no use obsessing over some attack. You said she has great physical attack and her healing can basically ensure you never die, problem solved!
