If you ever see a sign on the side of the road reading "Love Shack," DRIVE AWAY!!! :O
He does! And there's so few opportunites to raise his affection towards Roddick, that the only way to do it effectively is in boss fights.

Well, apparently, whoever fights in a boss battle will recieve affection from the other participants. So.. let's say Roddick and Ilia fight the Velkhent Chief boss together. After the battle, they'll gain affection towards each other. It's an unusal way to gain affection, but it's another route to take if PAs aren't doing to job effectively enough. Hope that helps!

Woah, I didn't know that, wow, if only I knew that before I would have seriously thought about who I bring into battle.

Well, it's something to consider in your next playthrough. Definitely helps for Cyuss, Erys, and Welch, who have few PAs, most of which don't offer affection.

Certainly a good idea, I am going to miss Cyuss in my second play because I am thinking of having Ashlay, Tnique and Phia next up.

Always a good idea to try new things and see how it all plays out.

Ah, Mavelle was an interesting character. If you don't get Erys, she'll remain a total mystery to you. Not to mention she has a very unique choice of weapon.

Yeah but, getting through her PA's you'll quickly realize...

Spoiler: click to toggle

But beyond that.... She is a good character in battle. Like I said, Galaxy is broken.

It's a little slow, though. But once it activates, only Symbology (and the flying disc of doom) and stop it.

At first, but it quickly speeds up and deals massive damage. Like I said, Gabriella will die quickly if you do it right.

Ronyx was a funny character, too, though he hardly acts his age. I don't see him as a symbologist, though.

I really wish that Ronyx wasn't a symbologist... But hey, dang that Millie for not revealing his secret about it ;)

All we know about symbologists is that they have tatoos on their skin. Maybe Millie took Ronyx to "the shop."

To have his tattoos made? I know for sure Celine has some on her legs and around her crotch area... So I assume that Ronyx might have gotten some around there too...
Although, his pattern of tattoos should be similar to those of Leon, if Leon has any considering he has the same magic attacks.

Maybe they're different for each user... In any case, you need these tattoos to perform Symbology. Exactly how they get them is still unknown.

One question still remains...
In the famicom version, Ronyx already has symbology at the beginning of the game... So why does he need a special treatment to use it?
