bite my shiny metal-
A third manga has been announced for Tales of the Abyss.

Siliconera

Namco’s really milking Tales of the Abyss for all it’s worth. Last year, they announced an anime adaptation of the game and this April, we’ll be seeing another manga based on the game.

The pilot chapter of this new series is set to debut in publisher Kadokawa Shoten’s (Kannazuki no Miko, MPD Psycho) Asuka magazine this April. Titled “Tales of the Abyss: Tsuioku no Jade” (Tale of the Abyss: Jade in My Memories), it will be created by artist Ayumi Kano alongside Tales of Abyss and Tales of Symphonia writer Takumi Miyajima. Tales of the Abyss: Tsuioku no Jade will be a sidestory and focus on the history of Jade Curtiss.

This makes a grand total of three Tales of the Abyss manga series. There’s Tales of the Abyss: Senketsu no Ash in Kadokawa Shoten’s Tales of Magazine. And there’s the “official” Tales of the Abyss manga serializing in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Maoh magazine.
Woo, Suikoden!
