http://www.newrpg.jp/ & http://www.tri-ace.co.jp/en/index.html Well, what do you think? While it is indeed April Fools day this looks pretty legit, just 215 hours away (around 9 days in other words) and we'll know about a new multi platform tri-Ace game. Considering it's labeled "New RPG" I think it will be just that, not a continuation of an existing series, although I'd love a genuine Valkyrie Profile 3... Edit: It's called End of Eternity as first revealed by Japanese Famitsu magazine on the 8th of April 09. Edit2: Yet for North America/Europe etc it will be known as Resonance of Fate, as revealed by Sega America on the 14th of May 09. Edited by Fayt, May 15 2009, 07:50 PM.

That tower in the background.......it looks so familiar. In fact,it looks like the chained moon from Infinite Undiscovery. It can't be a Star Ocean or a Valkyrie Profile cause The Last Hope and Covenant of the Plume came out resently. Edited by Freyjadour Falenas, Apr 2 2009, 02:35 PM.

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure if that is a chain to the moon, although I can see where you get the idea...maybe. I wouldn't mind another Infinite Undiscovery though, it was a good underrated game that could do with further improvement. I just hope, whatever is it maintains an action based battle system with visible enemies afield. |

Ooh, this is intriguing. I wonder what it could be. I'm probably leaning on the entirely-new-series side of the fence but we'll see. |

http://kotaku.com/5202959/this-is-the-new-multi+platform-tri+ace-rpg Leakage by Japanese magazine Famitsu! It's called End of Eternity. It also appears that tri-Ace will work with Sega for this one, their best RPG series would be the Phantasy Star series, so they would make a handy partnership, you'd question whether it has the same polish as a Square Enix game though. |

http://eoe.sega.jp/ Site has gone live, it's very realistic that's for sure. That Sega's influence I guess? It's strange seeing something associated with tri-Ace without that animated tinge. O_O (I'll put something up on the main site soon enough, got family stuff etc on at the moment though so don't have time for a whole lot atm) |

This game looks really cool! A little dark for my liking though. I'm not much of a horror fan

Wahhhht... A game made by tri-Ace where the main character has a gun. That hasn't been heard of since before Claude broke his phase gun. Still, the fact Sega jumped in the boat instead of square bothers me a little. But at least we loose that gay affiliation with other crappy RPGs I'd rather not mention less I start a war in here. *Cough* Final Fantasy *cough* The game looks sweet tho. And it looks like it's getting a copy for PS3 users as well. Instead of the Standard 360 deal |

Haha, a response suitable to you indeed Star. ![]() It's probably not a bad move though, Square Enix aren't really the powerhouse RPG company anymore, everyone else is catching up to them. So kudos to tri-Ace for trying something different. That's one thing I love about tri-Ace, they never get bogged down with one thing and make countless spinoffs etc for it like say Square Enix with Final Fantasy or KOEI with Dynasty Warriors. >.> |

Kyle and Fate > Awesomeness

I don't like the use of guns in a tri-Ace RPG. And it looks somewhat more modern, judging by the clothes and all. |

Actually, it does remind me of Dirge of Cerberus. It's a shame, though. I prefer tri-Ace games set in magical places (ie. Radiata Stories, Valkyrie Profile) and in the way future (ie. Star Ocean), but I dislike modern games. And I don't really like the use of guns in RPGs; although I did use Maria. I feel that it takes away the swords and sorcery part of an RPG. |

This is ringing Parasite Eve bells for me a bit actually, and that is certainly not a bad thing. It's not quite the same sure, but it had that horror/RPG flavor to it, and it worked very well, Aya was awesome in that! |
