Yeah, damn PAL regions. ![]() How smooth is the real time character change feature in your opinion? I've never seen anything like that in an action RPG and I'm most curious... |

It basicaly works like this: You open the menu and choose the option to swap party members You pick the member to swap out You pick the member to spaw in You wait a second or two Your new companion just appears Also If your party of 4 is killed, you automaticaly have to swap one of them in. Essentialy you have 2 parties. I'm now on disc 3. |

Sounds simple enough, I can handle just a few seconds, you wouldn't want much downtime in an action battle though. And really? If your party get's KO's the others just automatically come in? That is awesome, makes more sense too. I mean, if four people got beaten up in a close fight the other four aren't just going to watch and die too now are they?

Just to be safe, feel free to make use of spoiler tags for spoilers.
Also, I've heard that if you want to go back to a location from another disc, you have to change to that disc (eg. if you're on disc 3 and you want to go back to a location from disc 1, you have to change to disc 1). I also heard that you get all eight characters (i.e. no optional characters). Can anyone confirm? |

For the Phantom Soldier fight * There are 8 total waves * Equip and Max Out the Critical Hit skill you can purchase in Astral * Equip and Max Out the No Guard skill * Use blindsides * Use EM Bombs * Use 1-2 Healers * Use Edge and Reimi Yes, you will need to swap discs to go back to some of the planets. You get 9 characters, one leaves and is replaced. There are no secret characters to recruit. RE: Crowe Spoiler: click to toggle I'm not going to go into details about Faize or the "nomad" girl as I'm unsure myself. Edited by Quark, Mar 7 2009, 12:33 PM.

To add on my post: For the Phantom fight: * Level 40 seems to be the ideal level. I however beat them at 35. * Defeat the leaders first, they provide all of the minions with stat buffers. |

How is disks a bad thing? I remember 3-4 disks with Final Fantasy titles on PSX and I didn't mind that really. |

IU was terrible. SO4 though not the greatest, was a solid game to play. You should not deprive yourself of a good game. |

Yeah exactly. Its kinda backwards for one. For another I heard with blue dragon (think it was BD anyway) if you want to go back to old areas you have to put the older discs back in. Its just a faff on when you want to sit back and relax and yes I am unbelievably lazy ![]() I didn't mind with the old games much either tbh but I'm willing to bet it isn't nearly as long. Correct me if I'm wrong of course. Really though I wonder how many FFXIII will take up of the x-box? 5?
Makes me feel a bit better that you hated IU but liked this. I will get it eventually I know but June will be a busy month so not much point getting it then anyway :p |

You still need help with this? I just did this a few hours ago, you can recharge it on the switch you pressed to heat up the "coldsleep" room. I'm not sure yet if there's any other places you can recharge it yet, but that's one that I found. |
