I've been slacking a bit in playing. But I'm back at it again. I looked up the voice actor for Claude and it's the same guy that does the pedofile scientist inventor Gojo Shioji from Excel Saga XD. So far my favorite quote from the game is. "We can handle this........... DAMNIT!!!" That's what Claude says every time he fails at item creation. So far the game has taken me in pretty well. I'm fooling around in the Laguss Mountains training solo with Claude so I can get enough pickpocket to steal the Fortune Ring?? i think that's what it was called. It's not the trickster. I know that much. It's been so long since I played SO2. Anyway. You should definitely pick up this game if it's out in your country. I love it already |

It was the Mischief. But. Really. I cannot steal it for the life of me. I can't steal anything. I have a level 10 talent of pickpocketing. I have the bandits gloves. The only problem is. I don't have anyway of getting the Nimble fingers talent until I get to Lacour. *is mad* |

I'm well into it at the moment, and I'm loving it. Although having played the original a few times I'm starting to get annoyed at how long the dialogue and events are at times, I've gotten used to been able to use an Event Skip option to pass over things like that... That aside though, it's awesome, voice acting overall is better, even though it feels strange sometimes listening to new ones. There are definitely a few things that for renamed as well, from towns, dragons etc... |

I recently picked this game up again from my shelve, and am getting back into it. I find it as fun as when I left it. |

I bought the game soon after I bought First Departure. You see, I was almost done with First Departure, at the part before going to the Demon World, and I knew of Second Evolution, but not that it was released yet. Then, one day at school, a friend of mine was looking up pictures online for a project that he was doing, and I said, "Hey, type in 'Square Enix'!" He did that, went on to the main website, and suddenly, I saw the banner for Second Evolution, with the words "Now available in stores" at the bottom. I was so happy, because I didn't think it would be released so soon. I bought it that weekend, playing it before even beating First Departure. |

But I think I would have seen and bought the game in the store the moment I saw it. I mean, First Departure had a distinctive cover (even though you can't see what the game is like), so when you see two First Departure covers, but one of them is purple, not blue, you notice it. |

I have it, the game guide as well. I didn't even have to play Second Evolution to want to get it. First Departure did all the enticing for them both! |

The covers are very mysterious. You don't know what they're like until you look it up or have played the original. But i knew form the moment I laid eyes on it that I'd get it. I believe I spent my money on a PSP just to get that game... |

The title interested me alone. I thought "What is this star ocean?" Of course, it's later revealed to be, well, space. |

I had a feeling that it was going to be like First Departure when I first saw it. But I didn't know that it would be that similar. I knew how to play it from the very beginning. |

The battle systems are exactly the same. It's OUTSIDE the battle that heavily changed... |

That's how I knew exactly how to play when I first played it. This game had more stuff to offer, I felt. |

But the length has changed a lot. This game has a lot of other stuff to do and such. I can say that it's more fun than the first. |

The world seems a lot bigger, too. And the fact that's there's more than one world... |

There are more than one world in the firs game, too. It's just that... The second is not very big... and sort of deserted. |

This game have SFTs, either, so you can learn all the best moves without needing to pray for it. Well, except Opera... |

Yeah, you can learn Phoenix Blast without anythign augmentation. In fact, Claude can learn all his moves by just leveling up! Much more convenient than the first game. |
