Just finished the game; and I think it's underrated

Easy wins have never been my style Posts: 719 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Jan 10, 2008 Gender Male	I managed to finish the game today, and I've quite enjoyed the whole thing actually. I was put off at the beginning, been a whole new RPG with a slow start was something that needed time to get used to. But after that, it just got better and better. While it's made by tri-Ace, you just need to remind yourself it's NOT Valkyrie Profile or Star Ocean. The amount of characters, and character development is really awesome, I ended up really loving Capell's character, while he annoyed me to begin with. The battle system is classy, the worlds look great...it's actually a really good RPG. I've got a clear game file towards the end of the game, and hard unlocked now, as well as tonnes of achievements left to reach. I'll be replaying this to dig more of the hidden secrets and achievements the game has to offer for sure!

I probably will have zero to little time to play it, but it sounds wonderful. Especially the character development deal, which I expect from Tri-Ace since they have nearly always managed to pull it off well. Congrats on finishing the game, though. I may follow shortly after if I'm able to buy it soon.

Easy wins have never been my style Posts: 719 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Jan 10, 2008 Gender Male	I've almost finished a full replay of the game now as well, I've in fact taken longer so far on my second play and I haven't even finished it yet. I'm still learning more about the game, appreciating the little things I didn't really notice last time and finding stuff I didn't last time. The game has more depth when I expected, I'm really enjoying it and still don't plan on putting it down anytime soon. Capell is a much better main character then you'd think, when he snaps in particular is just awesome, I love watching this guy develop!

Easy wins have never been my style Posts: 719 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Jan 10, 2008 Gender Male	I absolutely love it when he snaps, you rarely see an RPG character snap like he does, for as long as he does, normally when one does it's only for one scene then it's back to normal after it. But his lasts over a few scenes and dungeons, I love it! For a while his whole voice acting set changes to a much darker/hatred style as well. {Quite suggestive how he snaps out of it too in the end!}
