Sure, he was slow, but I gave him Bunny Shoes, and he moved across the field in about two seconds. What's more is that he has access to the most powerful Symbology in the game: Ravenous Fiend. No, it is not Extinction or Meteor Swarm. Ravenous Fiend deals consistent damage to enemies that don't absorb its element, and if Leon has over 1,000 INT, it deals over 800 with a hit. If the enemy is close enough, that is about 20 hits of 800 damage. And last I checked, 16,000 damage with a single spell is much greater than 9,999. Claude: He was my main hero, and I used him in my main party, too. His attacks were some of the greatest in the game. And his defense was pretty solid. He was one of my main characters for dealing damage. His Rock Explosion was probably the most useful one, since it has such a long range. Opera: She's the best healer in the game, need I say more? She has the Healing Star skill, which will instantly freeze the screen and recover 5,195 HP to all characters if its proficiency is at 999. That's way better than what Rena can do. But in terms of power, she is very good at it. Her Tracking Plasma deals about 5,000 damage with each hit; it has five hits total at max proficiency. That's over 25,000 damage if all the shots hit. Chisato: With her Tear Gas, everything in the game died so fast. Seriously, though, Tear Gas has got to be one of the best, if not the best, skill in the game! I can't even imagine how many hits in has, and once an enemy is near a wall, it knocks them onto the wall, nearly killing them. She is definitely one of the best damage dealers. Rena: I didn't have a choice; she was sort of... mandatory. But I never even used her in my main party. I thought she took too long to cast Symbology. Seriously, though, I died faster than she could heal me! Celine: I didn't use her. i just sort of took her along. Noel: I hated him, but I just decided to take him with me. He could heal if I wanted to not waste any of my main party's MP or items. Welch: I wanted to see how useful she was. Indeed, she was a decent fighter, with Nibelungaling dealing 9,999 to everything, but I didn't want to use her.
