Ah, seems to be an inactive thread, it seems. I'll help resurrect it. I have played Silmeria for almost or over eighty hours, completing it twice already. The whole game was very interesting, and I especially loved the plot. It was all about betrayal and revenge, and it actually made me eager to watch the cutscenes. Now, onto my boasting: like I said, I have completed it twice. The first time, I was horrible at it. I managed to defeat Determined Dirna, but it was only once with Freya. However, during the second playthrough, I realized that Archers were the most powerful classes in the game, so I picked my favorite one: Ehrde. Why did I pick Ehrde? Well, he was unique: besides Rufus, he was the only male Einherjar. Plus, being a male, he can equip the White Loincloth. And also, being an Einherjar, he can learn Smashing Shot, one of the most powerful attacks in the game. I used him, and only him. I soloed every battle after the point that I got him, which was hard, since he only had a ten percent chance to get, I believe; Phyress kept appearing. With him, I managed to beat the entire Seraphic Gate a total of eleven times. And I also got the Angel Slayer. What's more is that I learned how to effectively use him well, without even giving him a weapon! That's right, Ehrde does not even equip a weapon. That's enough of my boasting. The game was great, and I really enjoyed it. I'm going to replay it someday soon, I think. And I have to use Ehrde again. |
