Here, we will go by years of training to determine what sort of powers a character can have. It makes sense that a padawan who's been training for 6 years will have more powers than a padawan who'd been training for 3 years. So we've decided to go off of a more realistic learning pattern rather than just Rank basing powers. HOWEVER this is just the maximum powers they can have. They can have less, or depending on your character, more. Please read all the character information closely. BE SURE TO READ THE NOTES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHARTS! If you have ANY questions, please do not hesitate to ask! Lightsaber Forms Years of Training ===== Maximum Number of Forms (You can have less) 1 --------------------- 2 Basic 2 --------------------- 1 Basic, 1 Competent OR 3 Basic 3 --------------------- 2 Basic, 1 Competent 4 --------------------- 1 Basic, 2 Competent OR 3 Basic, 1 Competent 5 --------------------- 2 Basic, 2 Competent OR 3 Competent 6 --------------------- 2 Basic, 3 Competent OR 4 Competent 7+ ------------------- Personal Judgment: We will be checking to make sure it is reasonable for the character Force Powers Years of Training ===== Maximum Number of Powers (You can have less) 1 --------------------- 2 Basic, 1 Sporadic 2 --------------------- Same as Above 3 --------------------- 3 Basic, 1 untrained 4 --------------------- 3 Basic, 1 Competent 5 --------------------- Same as Above 6 --------------------- 2 Basic, 2 Competent, 1 Strong 7 --------------------- 2 Basic, 3 Competent, 1 Strong 8 --------------------- Same as Above 9 --------------------- 3 Basic, 3 Competent, 2 Strong 10+ ------------------ Personal Judgment: We will be checking to make sure it is reasonable for the character Descriptions of Levels Untrained - Unpredictable. Usually shows that a talent in that area is emerging. Takes intense focus to be able to have any level of control over the power. A Force Shock at this stage might tingle. There are no Lightsaber Forms at this Basic - You know how to control it, but it takes a great deal of effort and energy. Force Powers of this sort are weak, but still mildly effective. A Force Shock at this stage might cause mild pain and distract an enemy. A f In the case of forms, you know how to get through it without making too many mistakes, but if it were a test, you have a 50-50 chance to pass or fail. Competent - Force Powers take a little less concentration and energy, and are a bit more effective, but aren’t quite full powered. A Force Shock at this stage might disable an enemy so long as you keep your focus. In the case of forms, you know what you’re doing, you know the patterns and some of the reasoning behind them. You would pass a test if tested on the form itself and do fairly well. Strong- Force Powers come easily now and don’t drain you nearly as much as they did before. The attacks could be stronger and sometimes with effort you can make them so. A Force Shock at this stage would disable our opponent for a few minutes after you stop the attack depending on how hard you try, but would not kill unless you exerted a great deal of energy. As far as forms go, you understand the reasoning behind the moves and understand their uses outside of battle. Your movements could be more fluid though and you still have a few quips and hang-ups here and there. Mastered- No one but a master can have ‘Mastered’ Forms or powers. You have been training for many years to achieve perfection and perfection doesn’t come easy. Any ‘mastered’ forms or powers must be explained for any characters that have been training less than 15 years. |
