While the many students of St. Rune's academy were assembled in the Great Hall, for an evening meal of haggis, neeps and tatties, a rarity, Hiram walked casually in to the room. All but ignoring the seated masses, he spotted at the far end a podium of sorts, complete with microphone. Perfect.
As he made his way quietly around the hall, listening to the murmer of indecipherable chatter, a few of the students noticed his passage. Those that did tended to stare, an account of his appearance. For an entrance, Hiram had chosen a relativley modest outfit, a mesh shirt, sleeveless and not falling below his ribs, in addition to a pair of very tight jeans, and canvas shoes, all in black.
By the time he had cleared the last of the stone pillars, which rose to the cavernous roof around the edges of the hall, almost half the people in the room knew of his presence. The rest were informed of this when he strode up the wooden steps to the raised sort of stage at the end, and grabbed the microphone from its stand, announcing "Is this thing on?".
After the loud screech from the loudspeakers mounted somewhere in the vastness overhead. Now that he had confirmed that the microphone was indeed "on", and continued with his announcement. All heads were now facing his direction, and the pervasive sound of chatter had subsided in good time.
"Hey, so, I guess you know who I am, so I'll make it quick. I have these bags out front, and they're real heavy," As he talked, in the emphatic way which had taken him so far, Hiram walked back and forth across the dusty stage, to give everyone in the room a look at him, and to see that there appeared to be four main groups of sudents.
"So some bitches are gonna get out there and give me a hand!" He spoke with confidence, knowing that at least a couple would step up for the chance to meet him.
"Seeya outside!" With these words he stalked back across the stage, placing the microphone back in the stand without breaking step, and jumped down to the stone floor as the chaotic voices of the crowd rose once more.

Violet's eyes flickered slightly as she watched the crowd form. She still had to register for the school, but it had been too busy right now to do so. Her eyes kept close focus to the ground, memories of what she had lost long ago still fresh in her mind. As she watched Hiram jumped down off the stage, she wondered if he could help. She began to walk around the crowd to try and get through, hoping that she wouldn't have to go outside. It was obvious that she had been out of the sun for the longest time, pale skin reflecting the lack of sunlight she was exposed to.

Thaddeus stood at the back of the hall and watched the proccedings with a kind of melancholy you can only really experience when you can see something unpleasant looming up but can't quite pin down what it'll do to you.
"Pompous litle arse isn't he." He mused to himself, barely withholding the urge to stride forward and whack the youth with something heavy

Santino slowly moved outside, dragged into the steady flow of moving bodies by the chance of getting to talk to Hiram, the main vocalist for one of his favourite bands. He had heard that the guy was an ass hole, and from what Santino had heard so far, it didn't defeat this rumour, but this didn't deter him. He had posters of the guy's band, and it would be nice to meet Hiram just so he could get one signed and said he had talked to him.
That in mind, Sonny ducked into the front of the mass trying to go help Hiram, ready to help in whatever way the guy wanted.

Thaddeus looked round the scrum for someone he recognized who could tell him what the deuce was going on. Seeing the ever-memorable back of Santino's head, he called;
"Ey, Lucidos, here!" pulling his 'mild irritation' face which he made a point of rehearsing daily.

"What?" Santino said, spinning one one heel, his eyes narrowed. Nobody called him Lucidos, not even unfriendly teachers, which Thaddeus wasn't. Coupled with the fact that someone called Thaddeus had thought they had the right to call him by his ridiculous surname, Sonny had the right to be pissed off.
He didn't think he'd talked to.... Professor Thaddeus for a long time now. The man certainly didn't have any reason to call him Lucidos. His first name was memorable enough, as was his face, he though with a smile.

"Calm down." He said, picking up Santino's tone and opinion a mile off (so to speak) "Who is that chap up there?" he asked, pointing with the end of his stick.

"Ummm... Hiram Isenberg. He's the singer in a real cool band. I guess that's why a lot of people want to help him. Is that okay now?" He asked, wanting to get this cleared up, if only so he could go and help Hiram with whatever the guy wanted done.
He shifted from foot to foot, black skinny jeans and canvas daps printed with various radical phrases slightly damp in the steady rainfall that drizzled slowly from the blackening sky.

"Uh," Said Thaddeus, a smile spreading across his face "If you must, then depart. I have things to do,"
He turned and strolled out of the hall, stick clicking inaudibly in the din of excitement.

As he retraced his steps, smiling to himself that this entrance had gone down so well. Passing Violet he tapped her on the shoulder without breaking step.
"You're a lucky girl to be the first to reach me." In the breif glance he had got of her before passing, he got the image of a quiet and shy person. However, she had crossed his path first, and was in for now. Up ahead, some old bearded guy was clearing off, having been talking to some young guy.Perhaps the kind of guy who could be of use.
Most of the students, who had left their seat, were not rushing to get in his way, as Hiram moved back towards the entrance in a suprisingly quiet way. However, there was a not of talking, and some shouting, which pleased him. If Santino didn't clear off, he would find himself along for the ride, and Hiram watched the distance close, smiling at the kid, as if daring him to remain in the way.
