Should be self-explanatory... I haven't played any of the new spin-off games, like the new Ranger and Mystery Dungeon games, so my answer is based on all of the pre-DPPt spin-offs, but I'd have to say either Pokémon Pinball (the Ruby and Sapphire one) or the original Pokémon Ranger. I don't have a lot of motivation to go back and play Ranger anymore since I finished it, but I enjoyed it a lot. Pinball I can always go back to and play again; I don't play it much anymore, but it's one of those addictingly fun games that once I pick it up, I won't be putting it down again for a while. Trozei falls into this category a little bit, but not as much. How about you guys? |

MYSTERY DUNGEON. Gameplay might be bad (unless you like dungeon crawlers), but the stories make it totally worth playing. |

I always liked Ranger, but it was short. They needed a versus mode. I could imagine how one would do it: each player would have, say, a Magikarp, and they'd have to capture it. Then the Magikarp would be put onto the other side. Slowly, more powerful Pokemon would be put into the fray, and whoever's Styler ran out last would win. |

The first Mystery Dungeon game. Epic win. I liked the second one, too, but the plot was a bit too predictable. Still, epic. |

First PMD, although the second is better, AND NO, I will not be getting Explorers of the Sky. Edited by The Cardiac, Jul 24 2009, 12:51 PM.

Explorers of the Sky? A third one seems a bit too much. |

/agree. I've already read through the spoilers to Sky and the extra Wigglytuff story seems pretty awesome but I can't bring myself to buy it just for that. =/ |

PMD =D Both games were fun with nice storylines, although the gameplay was a bit frustrating. I remember playing PMD Red in Japanese on VBA |D That was great. I also enjoyed Ranger, although I never played the second and yeah short. Pinball R/S was fun. I played my friend's Trozei and found it addicting, but a bit too steep a learning curve. I'm looking forward to Melee =D |
