thisis a generic guide that may help with strategy in stages on your first play thorugh before your first rb you can know the skills how they work and how best to use them when playing stages try to herd the enemies together and use an aoe attack to get them know the effects of your skill on each enemy that way you will know how to play with other players I don't mean status effects I man impact effects attacks are of different types when they connect this is not a comprehensive list but some of them include - just damage the enemy loses life but doesn't stop his attack - flinch damage the enemies attack is stopped some attcks aren't stoppable and some enemies cant be flinched - push damage (usually flinches) is a good tactic also usefull in narrow stages where the enemies are funnelled not all enemies are pushable but it generally flinches - fall damage the attack falls the enemy down to the floor - hit into the air damage the attack hits the enemy into the air for enemies who don't hav animation to get hitinto th air they usually take extra damage and if they are frozen before hand they also take extra damage as well - hold or freze this is sef explainatry when using skills its best practice to know the effects of each move and the damage range and animation time I know it sounds technical but after a stage you will know this for each skill naturally andif it suits ur fight style in stages its best practice to hit and run and spam moves if u have enough mana for it make a cycle of certain skill sets thatyou use a lot when one skil cools down you cycle to other skills know whick skills complement each other as well this helps in chaining skills and also the timin as well this is what you learn in your first playthrough whe you rb you will know which skills to use best and when playing with ohers you will know how to play with others as you would have played stages wit people for pvp remember infinit combos a lot of pple use them but its beter tp play for fun this is a generic guide also know your chars advantage and use it to your best there are diferent types and builds for differentchars this will help you build a style you work wel with its ok to break he mould but don't dstroy your char build unless yo are sure of the play style you want (example a healer that is not full support) remember you will have problems playing wit others if yor char is not good at their base style and will mke many enemies (example with people who will hate on a non healin healer who isn't a competent fighter either) these are generic poins to note not geared to any char but will help all chars I stress that you should get used to yur skill sets usually the skill sets with an rb version are generally good also the high lvlskills and ultimate skills are important for most chars know how they work their stregnths and weakneses every skill has an exploit then skills that use reagents remmberto stock up on them if u want to use them regularly in your first play through you should have an idea of how every non rb skill works not necessarily how to use them but have a good idea their best practice yu will need tat in rb nesesary stages hope tis helps |
