Okay, where to begin.

This week end I recieved a message from a friend on Bebo, saying that I was in a video and should watch it, the massage gave me the link and I stuipidly clicked it and was instantly swarmed by trojan viruses.

Later that day I also recieved a message from Paddy on TW with a similar message. After I demanded an explanation from my friend, I mailed Paddy back and asked him what the video link was and told him about the last one I'd been sent.

The last few day the hidden viruses went active and altered all my internet options and disabled connection.

Today, it was fixed and I went back to Bebo and my friend who sent me the contaminated video had sent me an angry message saying I'd sent her the virus-video and that she'd never sent anything to me.

Paddy had also replied to my message saying I was right about his link, it was a virus and his cousin or something had sent it to him and I shouldn't open it.

I have contacted Bebo, and hopefully they'll figure out what it is, but I've also recieved the same message from two friends on Facebook now, who never actually mailed me.

So if you get a message entitled generally in capitals and has one line of why you should watch the video with 'you in it' -- even from your friends, and gives a link. Don't click on the link and report it.

It's passed through you clicking it and then it'll contaminate you and sent out the message to all of your contacts. You need to warn your friends not to click on any video link like this immidiatly!
