Administrator Posts: 669 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: May 23, 2008	Well, a few days ago we hit the 20 members mark and I thought now would be a good time to find some new moderators, two to be precise. The Moderator's job would be in a specific area, one in the Meadow and one in the Literature section and will maybe be joined by some more staff as more people join the site. In the Meadow, the mod's job would be to create new topics, move topics, close topics, watch for an overload of spam (blue oranges are an exception ) do modly things and report abuse etc. They would also be modly in other sections too, but mainly in their area. In the literature section, the moderator would make sure there is no abuse etc, help new members out with posting their work, closing/deleting topics . . . and being modly. Yeah, I'm not very good at describing jobs, but it's easy enough to learn. And both moderators will have acess to the invisible staff room. So, if you would like to have one of the above positions, please PM me with the title of the job you'd like and a quick bit about why you want the position. Everyone who applies will be put through to voting by the members of SI. Exceptions: You must have over 20 posts to apply. You must have no warns. I have had two members contact me for the mod-jobs and I believe that both of the are excellent choices for modship here and I hope you'll all agree. As I have only had two replies, there is no need for a community vote and both will get the job, so congratulatons to Majyk and Argentum! I will email you both the password for the staff room where you can discuss which one of you gets which job and I'll see about the modly powers and hopefully grant you them in the next few days. If you don't see extra buttons around people's posts then write back here, it means it didn't work after all and I'll have to fiddle around in ACP . . . Fun. I tried to make our usernames coloured . . . That didn't work either so I may have to wander over to the support site for some help.
