Thanks for the pinches! Yes, I am 12. One more year until I can join the real NaNo site! Charlotte Lydia- Do not quit! If you don't make 50k words, at least you made an effort to write a novel, unlike the "one day" writers. Keep writing, and don't stop! You still have the rest of the month to write! I spent the weekend around a friend's and homework on Thursday meant that my wordcount has suffered. I'm just past the 12k mark and have another 1300 words to go to meet today's target . . . O_o Don't quit, Charlotte, it's only your first time so you're still getting use to the whol 'write so much a day'. Just try to write about 500 words a day minimum -- you can get between 200-400 in a 15 minute word war.If you're on aboring bit of t=your story just skip it to something interesting that you reckon you could write loads on, and remember that this doesn't have to be amazing. Most of the participants in this will write a shocking amount of rubbish this month.

It's supposed to be a 50k of a novel, but no one's going to go "GASP! You wrote 50k and it's not all one novel!?" and then strip you of your badges. No, no, no, it doesn't work that way. 16k so far. Oh lord I'm behind on word count. Lovely. Its funny because I went into this knowing I would fail epically but i would do it anyway so I would get us to writing everyday but I'm still sad because I'm behind. I might just do a collection of one shots. Edit: I have decided I am going to do a collection of one shots. I kinda feel like I have failed because I really want to write an actual story but I never can. Maybe I should just get us to writing everyday this NaNo and write a full novel and figure that out the next. Wordcount: 2531 I have one day off and one half day this week along with my parents working on Saturday so hopefully I can get this up. *rereads* I sound pathetic and winy and self-pitying. Lovely. Ugh me neither, ovbiously. I don't mean to be annoying but can someone please give me feedback on my LAL letter. Not a crit just a simple 'i like this part and the use of this word but not this part or this word' would be fantastic. |
